I wouldn’t put it past McCain to pick the Dim nominee as his vice presidential nominee in return for their picking him as their VP.

Caller yesterday talked about this and I wanted to comment but was unable to join the thread. I believe this to be the worst of all scenarios because in essence, conservatives would officially be neutered. At that point, we may as well vote for someone else, because the moderates and the Dems will be busy splitting their votes between those two tickets. It will be like a National Democratic Party primary.

Ugh; Fast Food sucks worse! I worked for my family owned fast food restaurant through college and part of law school to help ... My parents were opened every holiday, and believe it or not people come by the carloads to eat fast food hamburgers on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The one bad thing about winning by losing is that no— NONE — NADA— fed program has EVER been undone.

It has never happened.

We may have gotten Reagan because of Carter, but nothing from the dems ever was undone. Reagan may have lessned the impact of some of the “Great Society”, but NOTHING was undone.

Hey Roc! In my work, holidays are just another day. In mild weather I can put folks off, but if its a cold Christmas or a hot 4th of July, I’m gonna be working.

I never have minded it though, I’ve made a lot of folks happy over the years. (plus the money ain’t bad either!)

I am totally in fear that most people are ignorant of HOW government works.

I even fear some people here who should be informed of the workings of our government. How things get done.

Just as I fear libs, I also fear those who think they are “conservative” just because they are anti-abortion, but know nothing more about what being a conservative is.
