I’m guessing at this point that Cardinal George will summon Pfleger to his office after his little “vacation” and ask him if he will repent, and change his ways. Knowing Pfleger, as little as I do, my guess is that he won’t. THEN Cardinal George will be able to remove him completely once and for all from St. Sabina. Where they send him then - who knows? I’m thinking perhaps that Fr. Pfleger could be sent to do missionary work in Africa, or some other 3rd world country so he can learn first hand why America is STILL the best country in the world...
A couple of weeks off. Wow, talk about strict. Oh well, this will give him some time to take some lessons from Hillary on “how to talk black talk”.

Pfleger is probably a diocesan priest and will remain in the Chicago area. Pity the next parish he will be assigned to.
If Pfelger starts his own church it will be a gold mine.

Two weeks of contemplation...away from the congregation and the spotlight, Then on to a “retreat” for six months of spiritual nurturing, then to Rome for a year of studies at the Pontifical College...Then to Zimbabwe as adjunct priest at the church of St. Indulgence.

what happend with most of these priests happened a long time ago, there is little anyone can do about it now....it was done in a time when that sort of "thing" was thought to be A) fixable or B) a sin that could be forgivable...
yes, there are leftists "forgive anything" homosexual loving or tolerating Catholic higherups who have let this crap go on for far too long....

Perhaps Pflegel has Racial Identity Disorder. Instead of providing the mental help he seems to need, the A.P.A. will soon declare RID a variation of normal. Pflegel, encouraged by his shrink, may now dye and perm his hair and spend hours lounging on a tanning bed so his outside can match his inside, then insist on Affirmative Action, apply for future slavery reparations, and get special legal protections that require others to acknowledge that he really is black and charge them with hate crime if they look at him sideways. Move over, transgenders, there is a new victim class: the TRANSRACIAL!!!

All Christian Priests/pastors etc must be held to a higher standard. The innocent ones? Dunno about that.

I think the question that the Cardinal is asking is “Do you wish to continue being a priest?”. This is a very public smackdown.
He most likely will not see St. Sabin’s again.
In others words...straighten up and fly right or you will be retired. With the current shortage of preists in this country, this is a fairly drastic step for them to take.
I question the timing.
I wasn’t “distinguishing” between children and teenagers as though molesting one was bad and molesting the other not so bad. I was alluding to the fact that the number of priests who have molested children is, in fact, minuscule. Something like half-a-dozen. OTOH, the vast majority of the “pedophile” priests have NOT been pedophiles but homosexual men who molested teenagers. The phrase “pedophile priest” has been promoted partly because of the alliteration and largely because it has diverted attention from the reality that homosexual men were the principal culprits and teenage boys the principal victims.
Why would anyone want to distort the public perception of the Church’s “problem” in this way? Because in non-church situations, increasing homosexual men’s access to teenage boys is STILL part of the Agenda.

Thank you, I am reassured that there are now, no homo priests left in the church ,as it all happened long ago, and that this crazy priest will be pulled from the flock forever instead of the “couple of weeks” as stated.
