That seems amazing to me. Yes, Fox, the Gov’t all should have had programs that cover their employees and their families.

Snow resigned from his government job some months ago so he was responsible for his own benefits. It could be that given his medical history, life insurance wasn't available.

There's hope for Tony's children.

My cousins husband recently died from the very same rare cancer as Tony did. His mother succumbed to it as well. The cancer began in his appendix and discovered when he had an appendectomy.

His teenage son will be tested for the "gene" and if it shows up, he will have his appendix removed.

Otherwide, by the time this cancer is detected - it has already taken an aggressive course. Bummer.

“Bum kisser” is extremely mild compared to what I want to call you!

But, in the spirit of fairness and decency, I’ll let you have the last word!

I would hope that Fox, the govt., etc., provided benefits...but maybe not, if Rush has to ask.

The more I think about it, Tony wasn't treated that well by the Fox News Channel, IMO.... They replaced him with Wallace, and then when he resigned from the White House, CNN hired him, not Fox. I sent a sympathy card to Fox, and I hope they deliver it to Mrs. Snow...Tony's family needs a lot of support, financially and emotionally.

I understand Tony resigned months ago but I guess I am wondering about his jobs prior to Press Secretary. Guess I am confused. Just sorry we have to even be talking about something like this. I wish Tony Snow was still with us. He was a good person and I hate it tht he is gone from his wife and children.

Did not know his mother died of the same thing. Wow. How frightening that must be for Tony’s wife worrying about her children. God bless them all.

Tony spent his whole adult life worrying about the demon that would eventually cost him his life!

So Sad!

Sad indeed. How lonely his family must feel without his presence and his big smile. Too sad for words.

He knew the end wasn’t far away!

All he wanted was to leave his family in good shape because he knew he wouldn’t be there for them!

This thread has really caused me to rethink alot of my kind responses to fools who just refuse to understand what’s really happening.

Can’t imagine the pain he must have felt in his heart knowing he would be leaving his beloved wife and children. It’s almost unbearable to think about much less knowing he lived with the reality. What a good man. Makes you wonder why he had to leave but...it is not ours to question although we all do. anyway, I am sure his family will be fine and there are a lot of people out there with the financial resources to contribute to this cause. We will too although it will be in a small way but...we will contribute and thank God we were never put into such a tragic and sad situation.

That’s exactly why Rush put up a link...

He understands that all folks who liked Tony may want to help in their own small way.

It’s really unfortunate that some just can’t see the forest because of the trees!

Well, we’ll do what we can. My mother always told us to give from the heart and with good intentions. We have always done that and will give to his kids in her name. That ought to make her smile down on us. :)
