Any person would be wise to heed Charles Krauthammer advice, the man is brilliant and courageous in ways I wish I could obtain .

In my youth I was never inclined to take advice unquestioned from the sages on the left, and now that I'm in middle age, I'm not about to just start blindly accepting it from the wise men on the right.

What has that got to do with this? I do think for myself; if I did not think for myself, I would not be a Conservative. Please stop playing the strawman game, the division among the Republicans is bad enough.

As stated before, do what you must, but if you thought Charles was telling you “WHAT” to do then you failed to comprehend the message in the video.

Interesting debate. I tracked down the full video on youtube, in 4 parts:

Is world safer with a Republican in White House?

3 http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=ph_XeyJ1Tug
4 http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=ESCGD9b3oxk

Participants:
• Richard Holbrooke, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations
• “Human rights scholar” Samantha Power
• Historian Niall Ferguson
• Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer

I don't know if you're making this stuff up as you go along or whether you're too blind to see the irony/hypocrisy/inconsistency in your position. So I'm going to say this once and leave it up to God on whether it registers with you at all.

You've spent this entire thread pontificating from your pedestal about how, in regards to John McCain, YOU won't be told what to do, how YOU have your own mind, how YOU won't be bullied into doing something that conflicts with YOUR values.

Yet you criticize/castigate McCain for doing exactly the same thing. MCCAIN isn't doing what conservatives tell him to do, MCCAIN isn't doing what his party tells him to do, MCCAIN isn't doing what YOU tell him to do. What's the difference between you and him?

That's why they call him the maverick, because HE has his own mind, HE has his own values and HE has own ideas and follows them, HE won't be told what to do.

McCain SHOULD be your dream candidate, based on what you've said here.

That's why I think you're full of crap. You make these criticisms up as you go along. They AREN'T what you truly believe they just sound good TODAY so you spout them over and over.

You're pushing your agenda, whatever that may be. You have no core values, you have no core ideals, you have no core philosophy, you say whatever you think sounds good as long as it criticizes McCain.

Now there is a lot about McCain to legitimately criticize. But anything coming from you AND your cohorts is as empty as listening to any other boob talking head.

No, he usually has Teddy Kennedy's values and "mind". With a McCain victory, we win the battle but it'll almost certainly cost us the war.

“With a McCain victory, we win the battle but it’ll almost certainly cost us the war.”

The desperation in your hyperbole gets more pronounced with every McCain advance. My suggestion is to give the laptop back to mommy and daddy and go out and play with your friends on the swing set.
