I recall a kid’s story from the 1950’s or 1960’s about “Little Black Sambo”. It was hillarious. My great-aunt used to read it to me when I was a kid.
It is along the same lines as a “Golly-wog”: a stuffed toy with a black face and frizzy black hair. “Golly-wog” was also a regular character in the “Rupert” kid’s books I used to have both of those, too, when I was a kid.
And the cartoons of the time used to have African natives with bones braided thru their hair and big lips.
Back then these things were considered funny. Now they are considered racist.
I loved the book when I was a kid. He got that that tiger.

McCain and Palin’s electoral chances would seem to hinge as much on the derangement of the Left as on their own efforts.
It certainly doesn’t sound like Sarah Palin. She’s not filled with hate and anger; she’s not nasty; and she’s not venomous. There are plenty out there who are, but she’s not.

Basically, an unnamed anonymous waitress claims Palin uttered horrible slurs about Hillary AND Zero, and showed every sign of enjoying it thoroughly.

No wonder the vast sea of white, cheering faces at the Republican Convention went wild for Sarah: They adore the type, it’s in their genetic code. So much for McCain’s pledge of a “high road” campaign; Palin is incapable of being part of one.

I mean really these things are highschoolish rumor gossip garbage. They have been digging and searching furiously and can't find anything! In fact the smear machine has been working in overdrive. Even the hardcore libs at work have been just shrugging their shoulders at the rumors. I don't think they even believe them anymore either.
