This was discussed and discredited on one of the PUMA sites I browse through. They called in some of their linguist buddies, all of whom said the word "sambo" hasn't been used as a racial slur since the 40s; that it is unbelievable that Gov. Palin would ever have said such a thing in a loud voice in a public place and yet there's only one witness to it and that witness wants to remain anonymous; and that the claim that she's racist against native tribes is absolute BS because her husband is 1/4 Inuit. They've thoroughly discredited it, and I'm just surprised it's arriving here a day later. The PUMAs have also discredited the rumor that she belongs to a church which is actively engaged in trying to convince homosexuals to become straight and intends to promote that in her public policy. That'll be next here on FR.
