By the time he went to Harvard, he had been selected. The fix was in. He and Anita Hill and many others were selected to be pushed upward. Harvard class rank was part of the push.
He is a mentored phony who would be a front for his handlers pulling his strings.
He graduated magna cum laude at a time when grade inflation was minimal - well, compared to what it's become, now. LOL
Coincidently, I spent several hours this morning looking at Obama’s past. Everything was completely non-descript....until he left Columbia and went to work for New York Public Interest Research Group.
After that, he began living life in high liberal legal circles.
Kind of snide that.
For all we know, not taking honors could be a point in his favor with voters.
If the point is that Obama's not the genius that people think he is -- or that he wants people to think he is -- fine, but I doubt he was lazier or stupider than other students at Columbia or elsewhere.
For all the pitting of Obama and Palin against each other they may have something in common.
It can be hard for transfer students to work things out with the faculty at their new universities.
They may still be taking distribution requirements and looking for advisors when students who were there from the beginning are far ahead of them.
I don’t disagree with the “selection” part and the phony part!

BHO has never been asked why he went “back” to Chicago. He never went to school there. He had no family history there. Much political corruption in that neck of the woods. Great place to kick off your political career if you are a Dem socialist with all those dead voters casting their ballot for you. Yes, BHO looks very scripted. Interesting that both he and Hillary thought so well of Saul Alinsky. Saul was the subject of one of Hillary’s research papers that she tried to keep from being released. Funny how these “leaders” cannot show their true colors. They are very patient - don’t ever forget that. But,in Obama’s case,maybe he did jump the gun. He obviously isn’t ready - maybe his ego kicked in and overrode the puppet master.
Cashill does a great job mining for gold. Then there is that deafening roar from the MSM. Can you just picture Charlie Gibson or even Bill O’Reilly have the gonads to ask about any of this? There’s no excuse for this news black-out on Obama other than fear and/or complicity. But, thanks to CNN I know all about how angry the deposed Dem. Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska is because Sarah Planing beat his butt two times.
This coming from a man who feels no compunction to help his brother in Kenya who sure looks like $50 might go a long way. Anyone who is stingy with his own money has no right to raid my pocketbook for the Socialist state.
