I am tired of threats from the black community.

These people are crazy.
What gave it such a horrible connotation was the fact that real racism demeaned the ‘other’ to the point where they were no longer due the rights of a human being.
This is what made slavery and killings justified ... you weren't really owning another human being, or killing another person ... they were less than human, not a person at all. The percentage of people in this day and age that are true racists in the classic sense of the word is miniscule, and not a factor in any election equation.
Nowadays, a ‘racist’ is anyone that doesn't totally supplicate to the politically correct notions of race.
A ‘racist’ is anyone who dares to have any critique for anyone whose skin is darker.
A ‘racist’ is anyone who might object to the most liberal one term senator with questionable associations becoming president.
A ‘racist’ is anyone who might prefer to see a psuedo-Conservative semi-moderate with a respectable character and an excellent VP become President.
So call me a ‘racist’ all day long. Because it no longer means anything except that I don't subscribe to the narrow minded speech-codes, group think, and thought control of political correctness and identity politics.

This nation is heading for a damn divorce. For a decade, I’ve been saying that had we been divided along geographic lines we’d have been at war already.
Funny. The other thing I keep saying is that the only reason war hasn’t started is that everyone is basically content. There’s a chicken in every pot. Our poor are obese and have cell phones. Not enough people feel directly threatened. So we grumble, but eventually shut up and go back to work.
I wonder what mischief this economic situation will add to the mix? We almost have all the elements present for a very ugly explosion.

Early on during the primaries Obama was gaining momentum particularly in red states. When his polls told him that his lead was diminishing he played the race card on the Clintons and others. It’s really questionable that this ploy worked. We all know that he staggered to the finish line and had to rely on rigged State caucuses and super delegates. He now finds himself asking democrats that he once insinuated were racists, to vote for him so that they prove they were only racists during the primary. Seems like catch 22 to me?
I just finished explaining my views (yet again) to a mailing list of black women who can't get enough of this empty suit. They think the only reason anyone would vote against him is racism. I start talking about his (lack of) character, and I'm told that such a philosophy is sooo passé.
This is what our ancestors fought so hard to achieve? What people, black and white, bled for and died for? A world in which the color of someone's skin is more important than the content of their character?

Slightly OT as it isn't part of the racial aspect...One thing I have been anticipating, and this might sound far-fetched, are threats of suicides by lefties if Obama loses. I am not kidding at all; I will actually be surprised if this doesn't happen before the election.
