Here's a dolt. One who stares into the camera spitting all the while. In this particular session he was the godzilla of dolts.
Of course we all know who the graphic is over his shoulder, but Matthews just happens to be talking about Obama during this report...not Osama.

I knew I wasn’t imagining things. I just went back to my recording of the debate. They were BOTH looking directly into the camera, although Sarah got the ball rolling. She has made it clear that prefers to speak directly to the people. It could also be the former reporter in her. Obama also looked into the camera during the last debate, though not as often.
Ironically, the only candidate who hasn’t been looking into the camera during these debates is John McCain. Guess that means he’s the only one who’s not a “dolt.” Hey, let’s vote for him!
Frankly, I prefer them looking at us instead of at the moderator. It creates a connection and pulls you into the conversation. Leave it to Chris Matthews to think it’s better that the folks at home get left out of the discussion.
Bottom line, not only was she fantastic at this debate, but when it was over she actually asked for more debates. I wish she could debate Obama.
Might not be a bad idea. I think that he’s got one woman that already has him by the n*ts. It would probably feel normal to him. Sarah would toast him.
Matthews needs major help right away, but counseling will not be enough..... drugs will not do the trick..... he needs electro-shock therapy!! Maybe it should be done in front of the cameras on his next show..... hook him up and fry his brain until he stops raving like a psychotic.
Matthews looks like a dolt from any angle, IMO.

I’ve got news for Matthews.
There is nothing automatic at levels above the School level. There is much more tension, exasperation, joy and drama at district and National Spelling Bees than on Matthew’s program.
And yes, I know, I am the father of a National Spelling Bee finalist.
