Wonder how long it will take for all the FReepers in denial to diss this poll? IIRC, the Dogpatch poll predicted the ‘06 Rat blowout of ‘Pubs in OH fairly accurately.

Folks, there is not a chance in the world that Obama would have a 7 point lead in Ohio. Where do they get this crap?

Can you say tanking markets, and the incumbent getting the blame?
Bush has been an unmitigated disaster!

Columbus Dispatch is a joke.

FTA: "The 53-year-old chemical technician from Hilliard said he likes Obama's "fresh ideas," his youth and energy, and his lack of connections to big corporations or lobbyists."
LOL. Yeah, I guess Fannie and Freddie don't qualify.

no clear internals. It doesn’t have a breakdown of the respondents only how the respondents would vote.
I call this Bullsht.

After the problems we ran into in Iraq trying to establish democracy, along with the other shining examples of middle eastern experiments with democracy (the election of Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon) I concluded that democracy simply isn't for everyone. Part of me wonders if that is starting to become true for the USA too.

Ignore the polls. They are doing the same crap in Florida. Loads of Hillary voters in FL loathe Obama and are voting McCain. The MSM are totally in the tank for Obama.
Donate and volunteer for McCain-PALIN 2008.

.... because thousands of Ohioans already are casting ballots... I'd question that.

I just noticed a more subtle indication of the article's bias (besides the stuff I quoted, which is so obvious as to require no comment). The article closes with:
Robert Neeley Sr., 73, of Fairfield in southwestern Ohio, retired from the U.S. Air Force, goes even further.
"He is anti-American and his disrespect to our flag and our Bible proves it. He is a Muslim because his name and his beliefs show it. He is for everything that a Christian is against.
"I don't believe that he was actually born in the U.S. He has a lot of bad baggage." (emphases added)
Thinly veiled message: "Anti-Obama" = "Old fart" and "believer in crackpot conspiracy theories".

According to that poll Obama has both the Catholic and Muslim vote locked up.

This is more hooey again, look at the break down
Now If 90% of Republicans and 7% of Dems go for McCain and 84% of Dems and 5% of Republicans go for Obama and independents split evenly in that poll, for Obama to be 7 up 49 to 42 means they hade to oversample dems by more than 10 to 15%.
