Half the people in this country may be ready for this country to head down this path- but the rest aren’t. This is like watching a train wreck about to happen and not being able to stop it.
I do believe when it comes right down to voting enough people will wake up and not put this Communist in office. If I am wrong we are in for tough times for sure.
For those who want to flee the country, there will surely be an exit tax, just as ‘progressives’ have already proposed that prosperous urban dwellers be forced to pay if they want to relocate out in ‘the sprawl’ (and stop being bled by city taxes in the process).
My hunch is that, in the short run, the tax will roughly equal whatever is left in your 401(k). In the end, it probably will come down to everything but whatever precious stones that you can buy for gold on the black market and sew into the seams of your clothing. Unless, of course, you’ve already been declared a counter-revolutionary, in which case you’re likely to stopped at the border and returned for liquidation.
So that’s what that lump in the carpet was!

Shouldn’t it just be called the “Ministry of Peace”?
They want to award “peace workers” the benefits of the GI bill that they give to those who risk their lives for their country.
I’ve heard Obama say it.
In short, you can go out and smoke dope and talk about “love” and they’ll pay your way.
Socialism is officially government control of the means of production. These people have figured out that control of resources is better than controlling the producers of resources.
