I used to head into those library doors with the intention of studying. But then I would turn left into the periodical room and waste 3 hours reading magazines. Kind of like my present internet browsing.

Richard Pryor could tell a tale or two about this subject, methinks. :)

It is horrible. Once in a great while I had to 'float' into the burn unit, to assist with patient care.
Years ago, the head nurse of the burn unit of the hospital where I was working set herself on fire three times over a two year period, before she succeeded in killing herself.
The final time was soon after escaping from the locked psych hospital, by setting a fire.
He live-in boyfriend doctor came home one day, and told her, “we're getting married.”
She was naturally elated, ans starting asking the usual questions.
He reportedly cut her off with, “oh, not you and I; me and my fiance, so&so!”
He had been two timing her, and she decided to kill herself instead of him.
True, sad story.

Well, it is a huge open area paved with red bricks.... They need to pick up & move that surrounding "church architecture" to someplace Godly people could appreciate it.

This is really all George Bush’s fault. Another example of how 8 years of failed Bush economic policies caused people to set themselves on fire and burn themselves beyond recognition.

The article says that that the people around the man (presumably UW students) made a serious effort to save the guy’s life. Good kids.

No, this is proof that the economy is recovering - a month ago he couldn’t afford the gasoline.

If he only knew that the Lord Obama can control Gravity. Sadly, he didn’t check into that before he jumped.
And we wonder how stupid people can be to vote in a lying Socialist as President.

Can you give me reallllly easy directions in how to imbed a picture into a post? Im very dumb with this stuff...
To post an image: <img src="image location">
You can't post pictures directly from your computer. You need them linked to a site on the internet.
People often link them directly to the internet page they found them on.
However you may want to get a
Photobucket account, load and post your photos from there.
Lots of free storage and bandwidth.

Can you give me reallllly easy directions in how to imbed a picture into a post? Im very dumb with this stuff... It's html stuff, not at all difficult.
You need two things to make it work.
1. You need the URL of the picture you want to post. One way to get that in IE is to right-click on the picture, and select Properties. To copy the address, right click on the address, hit "Select All," then "Copy."
2. The next step is to "html-ize" it. It's the same for all pictures:
< img src=http://asymptotia.com/wp-images/2007/01/yellow_rose.jpg >
(but you need to remove the space after the "<" and before the ">")
Having done so, the resultant image posts like so:
One other handy item: you can adjust the size of the picture with either a "height=" or "width=" option, where the dimensions are in pixels. (The default size of the pictures is shown in the "Properties" discussed above.) Thus, < img src=http://asymptotia.com/wp-images/2007/01/yellow_rose.jpg height=112 >

I used to love to go into Suzzalo -- the architecture is great, and that "old library" smell....
But I never studied in the library -- too many girls to watch. ;-)
