Seth Mcfarlane (Family Guy) is a big lib - I still think the guy’s funny. “American Dad”, kinda lame, “Futurama” is way better, (I LOVE BENDER), South Park? are you kidding, Great Great show. The bottom line is that sometimes these shows challange the Lib establishment, challange political correctness, and entertain as well. The inappropriate content of funny shows like “Robot Chicken” (Seth Green) sometimes gives us pause. IMHO It’s not OK for kids to watch some of these types of shows unless you think your kid can’t handle it. I’d respetfully call these concerned parents, Real Parents!

Compared to the obvious Dem/Obama love fest of the Simpsons

Did you ever see the Simpsons that made fun of Clinton? ("I sleep with pigs, real pigs".) The Mayor is a spoof of the Kennedys.

King of the Hill used to be hilarious, but I haven’t purposely tuned in for the new episodes in a long time. Here’s a favorite moment that will fit right in on FR ...

Hank passes by a city limit sign as he drives into Hot Springs, Arkansas. As he reads the subscript (Home of President Bill Clinton) he immedately locks the doors of his truck as he continues driving. Hilarious.

Also, Hank had a great line about how a woman on the Supreme Court ruined it, “and that woman was Earl Warren.”

“If Ronald Reagan dyed his hair it was only to show strength to the Soviets.”

It was a spin-off of Beevis and Butthead.

Not really. It's more that Mike Judge can't do that many different voices, so Hank Hill sounds like Mr. Anderson.

Why would they get rid of King of the Hill and keep all that other garbage on?

How sad and stupid.

I enjoy about 1/3 of a Family Guy episode. The gay humor and musical numbers are boring, but I like evil Steie's attempts to destroy his enemies. American Dad is nothing but propaganda. I wouldn't mind the leftiness so much if it was actually funny. It's a pretty big indicator of youth politics, I guess, if these shows are being renewed.

Good old Hank Hill.

Some of the show was a parody of conservatives and their values, but they also did mostly spot on parody’s of the left.

The episode about the co-op “natural foods” store and how it was a non-profit grocery store that suddenly became profitable and all the hippies running it became capitalists and started driving sports cars instead of riding bicycles is an episode that should be shown in every High School.

It was like spending a day, or 30 minutes in “Anytown” USA

Unfortuantely, a few years back I was dating a cute girl who was...ahem...a...progressive shall we say.

She said Hank Hill was a racist. I asked her why, but she couldn’t answer why. He just was.

Tonight as I carouse the high end taverns in my once fine City dressed in a Hugh Hefner smoking Jacket, I drink a Grey Good Martini in Hank Hill’s honor.

I know Hank isn’t a real person, but there are real people like Hank who are the heart and soul of America.

Maybe I’ll have a PBR in thier honor as well.

Thank you Hank Hill, for hopefully teaching kids the difference between right and wrong and for being a good old boy with honorable values.

Yes, Judge is consistently funny. I’ve never seen it, but I’ve heard that his movie “Idiocracy” is very funny. King of the Hill is hilarious.

The character of Hank Hill is based on a character in Mike Judge’s “Beavis and Butt-Head” (1993) by the name of Tom Anderson who acted and talked exactly like Hank. Also Hank’s catchphrase of “That boy ain’t right” was from an episode of “Beavis...” when they’re at Burger World and Tom Anderson comments on Beavis by saying “That boy ain’t right in the head.”

Someday in the future, some teen kids will find an old box of King of the Hill DVDs. They will also find a crude instrument known as a “”DVD Player” which is probably like an 8 Track player is to us today.

They’ll figure out to make them work.

Many hours later, after saying nothing while watching episodes of KotH all day and all night, and as the storylines play out on whatever is a TV in the future, they will all simultaneously say “cool” at some point.

Or whatever word replaces “cool”

Maybe “Sarah” will replace “cool”? As in, how “Sarah” was that? That was the most “Sarahest” thing I’ve ever done in my life!
That was so totally “Sarah”. He thinks he’s so “Sarah”, but in reality, he’s just an “Obama”. (Obama - a wannabe who thinks he’s cool/Sarah and who thinks that his peers like him but instead his peers laugh at him and mock him behind his back)

BTW, Sarah will be our 1st Female President, and she will save this country from the damage caused by Obama.

no Idiocracy is only funny when you watch it ,then you realise how close to the truth it is and you endup in a depression spiral that ends with you crying in your bed over the death of America

Yep, and why did they set “Idiocracy” 500 years into the future? It’s happening now! 50 years would be more like it.

I'd call it a conservative show too, a big reason being that Hank, the father, is proven right on at least some if not most of the episodes. On most shows these days, father never knows best.

Exactly why I hate most current sitcoms. The husband is always portrayed as a helpless buffon.
