the fact that somebody is polling this right now is a symptom of the evil which is Beltway Conventional “Wisdom”.
Sarah isn’t ready to lead a ticket yet. But she would be an asset to any adminstration. And I say that as a big fan of hers. She was the only person I voted for this year.
Jindal. Barbour. Sanford. Hell, even Jeb Bush was a pretty great governor. All of them are already tested leaders who are PREDICTABLE conservatives. We already KNOW they are conservatives and we don’t need to waste another primary testing out all these RINOs to see which one the media likes best.

I didn’t say it had to be a liberal repub, just more senior. Anyway, I’ll take to landslide elections.

“I would like to see her with either Steele, Jindel or Pawlenty. Romney might not be too bad either.”
Steele, Jindal, Pawlenty, Barbour - all good choices for a Palin run in ‘12.
GOP should avoid diluting the conservative message with a RINO like Romney. The party pressured Reagan to work with G.H.W Bush (another RINO) and it did him, the party, and the country no good.
I always love that statement by GHW Bush about political leadership and imagination: “I’m not very good at the ‘vision thing’”. In other words, George, you’re a stick-in-the-mud RINO, and not a conservative.
Romney reminds me of Bush41 - he’s definitely RINO, not conservative.
