Jesus asked God to forgive His murderers. Jesus didn’t say that He forgave them.
You have no right to offer forgiveness to the murderers of these fine people. They haven’t asked for it. They don’t want it.

Did I say I was offering forgiveness to the murderers of the Jews in Bombay. I just said that our religions are different in this respect. Christians have a different perspctive ... I would never presume that others would have to share my persepctive.

Finally, the world witnessed how the Holtzberg's non-Jewish nanny, Sandra Samuels, saved their two-year-old Moshe's life, running out with the child while risking being mowed down by machine-gun fire.

For those who aren't aware of the Hebrew pronunciation, "Moshe" is the Hebrew pronunciation of "Moses." I suppose that we'll never know if the Holtzbergs gave their child to the nanny in order to save him, or if she took it upon herself to do so, but either way, I pray that The Lord bless her for her courage and selflessness. A woman alone could escape far easier than one carrying a toddler. The similarities to the biblical "Moses" are rather stunning here.
