“’up the body count’”

#####

I’ll give 3 to 1 odds that is the title of a song on the current C(rap) charts.

In this case, maybe an abortion might have been in order? The jury is out on that one.

The following day, armed gunmen opened fire at a Tamarac Dunkin' Donuts, leaving one man with life-threatening injuries.

Armed gunmen.. as opposed to UN-ARMED gunmen.

Good grief. The paper can't afford proof readers let alone writers.

The case broke open on Tuesday when Lauderhill police working in a high-crime neighborhood

Lauderhill is a high crime city. It was a fairly nice place at one time.

The PB Post has had to cut back so many of its employees (at least 50 percent) that they probably don’t have a proof-reader anymore.

The PB Post and Sun Sentinel are transforming into strictly local news these days, which is probably a good thing.

Ahhh, come on. These guys probably had bad childhoods.
Where’s the compassion?
We need to spend more on midnight basket ball and outreach programs.
Horse crap. These thugs should be horse whipped daily til they are hung.

I lived there when I first moved to Florida many, many years ago. Indeed it was once a nice place to live. It went downhill very fast back in the mid-late 70’s. Inverrary was once an exclusive, expensive neighborhood where Jackie Gleason had his annual golf tournament. The president used to come. Now that area is rundown and dangerous.

These animals are from Boynton Beach, in Palm Beach County. The local blogs are saying that they were pimps for a local strip joint. They would use the girls to entice the “guests”” into the dark parking lot for some action. They sure were getting action: armed robbery, some shot.

The liberal Sun Sentinel will never give a racial description of the suspects. Just that the were young men. For PC reasons, the newspaper is not allowed to mention a suspect’s race -— just his age, height, and weight.

Somehow, I never thought they end up being members of a Swedish-American street gang . . guess I was right.

If you are on a jury, and an armed citizen of the United States is being persecuted for carrying a firearm. Do not convict if the person is just exercising his or her second amendment rights.

All firearm laws should be used only against criminals, not honest citizens.

If you are on the jury and are trying to decide if the New York Giants football player should be convicted, just remember the 2nd amendment. The restrictive Sullivan laws are unconstitutional.

LEOs cannot handle gangs. This is why the 2nd Amendment mentions well-regulated (meaning having lots of guns) militias. It is up to militias to form to hunt down and kill Crips, Bloods and MS-13 members, and drive them out of neighborhoods, towns and states.

I, for one, can’t fathom forcing a woman to carry an unborn baby to term. Sure, let’s encourage them in every way, shape and form, but to force them to keep their fetus?

And how are you going to do that? Put them in jail until they give birth? Most people here don’t think this through, because they are against abortion for religious reasons, which I also respect.

My grandparents had a little house in Delray many many years ago. We grandchildren got to go and visit them many times, and we have such fond remembrances of Delray when it was just a nice little beachside Town.

I am so sad to see this happen, but my memories go back to the late 1940s and early 1950s. Florida has not changed for the better, alas.

For goodness sakes, Delray Beach is actually quite a bit nicer than it used to be even a few years ago. Crime can happen anywhere. In Florida, we do have a good record of catching these perps, and there is mandatory sentencing as well. These guys probably got breaks because they never used a gun in a robbery before, or were underage when they did their previous crimes.

There is still a lot of good down here. It is however, different from what you remember. Palm Beach County today has well over 1 million residents. Broward and Miami-Dade counties are another 5 million plus. Unfortunately, the small town feel is gone forever.
