Just can't imagine that Mrs. Blank-O-witch, with her closeness to Rezko deals, has not already been interviewed by FItz .

I've made some observations about Patti Blagojevich myself. But keep in mind, a wife/husband cannot be forced to testify or give evidence about their spouse. Therefore, any deal making between Blago and Fitzgerald may more likely be to prevent Patti from being indicted. Blago will want to keep at least part of the family intact for the children's sake.
All this goes back to statements he made last Monday before all this came down. He joked about it saying there was only sunshine over his head. Many made light of his attitude. OTOH, he may have had reason to appear confident. What that reason could be may only come to light later. I doubt if we'll see much exposed tomorrow. His attorneys will insure he keeps his trap shut.
But...it's going to continue to roll out over the next weeks and months. This is not going away for Blagojevich, therefore it won't be going away anytime soon for either Triple J or Obama.

No doubt. But I'm not sure Fitzgerald is at that point...yet. While she's peripheral in the pay-to-play scandal, her big vulnerability rests with Rezko. And I don't think Fitzgerald is finished with that investigation by a long shot. If I were him I'd be waiting to lower that bomb on Blago when the ducks are finally in a row...
This is what makes last Tuesday's complaint and announcement so interesting. There is so much more going on, and this is just a brief glimpse into Fitzgerald's workings. I've heard there are any number of Illinois politicians scared to death over what might be out there in those wiretaps. What did they say that got recorded? Who has what? What was said by people I associate with? This HAS to have any number of people up tight. We're only seeing the obvious and immediate ones.
