But, Rahm was working in isolation and not as a representative of the Big O!

Nobody has permission to speak for the Big O!

The Big O and his team obviously think we in the sticks have never heard of "plausible deniability" before in our petty little lives

Obama isn't even President yet, and already he is immersed in more scandal than President Bush has seen in 8 years.

What a ride we are in for...

Being an investigator the exculpatory statement you say is good for Obama maybe it’s just the opposite.
What context was the statement made.
The statement may be a negotiating ploy not that they wouldn’t go along with the payment but the price was too high.
Therefore the statement may just as well be negotiating stance.
Two factors unconsidered 1) his statement was not put in context or relationship history 2)Fitzgerald said not to assume Obama was being investigate he didn’t say one way or the other whether he was being investigated.
The investigation was cut short therefore it is fluid and where it ends not even Fitzgerald knows.He didn’t have the time to complete his work.
He went on an educated investigative hunch. I do it all the time.
I am a pi and you guys blow investigative analysis all day long.

The following sequence of conversation coming from NoQuarter.
Conversation 9: November 6, 2008 Blagojevich instructed Spokesman to leak such information, as he desired to communicate dissatisfaction to the Obama campaign about Valerie Jarrett and what he thought they were offering for her appointment Conversation 10: November 7, 2008 Blagojevich speaks with Advisor A Blagojevich tells Advisor A he will offer the seat to Jarrett if he is appointed Secretary of Health and Human Services Conversation 11: November 7, 2008 Blagojevich speaks with Harris and Advisor B, a Washington, DC, consultant Blagojevich indicates that he will offer Jarrett the Senate seat if he is appointed Secretary of Health and Human Services, but Harris notes that any deal cannot appear to be a quid pro quo Blagojevich notes his financial situation, and Harris states that “they” are considering it
The Headlines from CNN: Source: Obama wants Valerie Jarrett to replace him in Senate From CNN Chief National Correspondent John King
Valerie Jarrett is one of Barack Obama's closest advisers. (Update: Two Democratic sources told CNN Monday that Obama wants Jarrett to serve in the White House, not the Senate.) (CNN) — A prominent Democratic source close to Barack Obama confirmed Sunday that Valerie Jarrett is Obama’s choice to replace him in the Senate. Jarrett is a Chicago lawyer and one of Obama’s closest advisers. She is also one of the leaders of Obama’s transition team. Rep. Rahm Emanuel, the incoming chief of staff, said Sunday that he had not seen the report from Chicago’s WLS-TV that named Jarrett as Obama’s top pick, but he praised her as a “valuable ally.” “People should know that Valerie Jarrett is — and people do know — she is a very dear friend of the president-elect and a valuable ally of his, not only prior to running for president, in his Senate life, and just personally for Michelle and Barack,” Emanuel said on ABC’s “This Week.” The Illinois governor, Rod Blagojevich, will make the final decision on who will be Obama’s successor
The Update by CNN was done on the 10th, and it is clear Jarrett was not in the running at that time. But the question has to be asked of Harris, WHO was "they" when "they" were considering giving Blagojevich the postion.

There’s a scene from Blazing Saddles, where they collect every lowlife and ne’er-do-well around...kind of like Chicago.

Who ever thought it would be our own Blago to take down the Messiah? LOL, sorry, just can't stop laughing about this.

I doubt the Clintoons were behind it, or they would have used this before the election, but I bet they are kicking themselves that they didn't think of BLAGO, they have been investigating him for 4 years now!!!

Regarless of how this turns out, the halo has been dropped on the floor. The first round of spin by the NY Times that Obama assisted Fitz and was a reformer is no longer operative.

The substance from here on out may not turn out to be all that earthshattering. Someone from the Obama camp might be a sacrificial lamb at the most. But it doesn’t matter. The case for Mount Rushmore is lost, and America potentially still has somewhat of a future.

Obama: I never talked to Blagojevich about the Senate seat.
Axelrod: Yes, he did...

Yes he did, did, did;
Yes he did, did, did;
Yes he did, did, did;
Yes he did!

Of course he did. This is the way things are done in Chicago. Why the news media people are so shocked, shocked I tell ya, at the “revelations” of business-as-usual in Chicago is beyond me.
