wait a minute, they did give Reagan credit, and he was decades ago for 1st inaugural (almost 3 ). Furthermore, I agree with their withholding the credit from Toon, that’s a lot more objectivity than I would expect from AP.

Hard to be inspiring when you’re nothing but a clueless puppet for a bunch of powerful white people in Congress.

The MSM would hail it as overwhelmingly successful if 0bama hocked a loogie.

4 years of MSM-fueled cult of personality coverage is going to be very hard to endure. (I’m turning the tv off now to beat the rush).

> I am making sure I miss the DARKEST day in the history of the USA

Me, I wouldn’t miss it for all the tea in China. Yes, it is a dark day for the US, but missing his speech would be like missing Hitler speak at Nurnburg. This article is right to a certain extent only: it is a history-making event that oughtn’t to be missed.

“My Country ‘Tis of Thee” is sung to the same tune as “God Save The Queen”. Verse 2 of “God Save the Queen” could just as easily be sung in either anthem:

O Lord, our God, arise
Scatter our enemies
And make them fall
Confound their politics
Frustrate their knavish tricks
On Thee our hopes we fix
O save us all!

Perhaps January 20 is a good day to sing it.

The biggest Secret Service detail that day will be surrounding the teleprompter.

> wait a minute, they did give Reagan credit, and he was decades ago for 1st inaugural (almost 3 ).

But that isn’t what they said. They said that Obama would be the “first extraordinary speaker in decades.” There is no mention of the 1st inaugural.

> Furthermore, I agree with their withholding the credit from Toon,

I can’t for the life of me see why. Clinton was a very, very good speaker. Extraordinary, actually.

Why not? that's what they voted for

The msm made sure O got away with a campaign of schtick over substance.

That is not going to change. He’s got nothing to offer this country but very bad things.

No matter what he says, it will be the Greatest Oratory in the history of mankind. The only question is whether it will sound like Lenin or Stalin.

Pray for W, America and Our Troops

They have their first extraordinary speaker in decades taking the oath of office. They know how good he's been. Time for great.

IF YOU REPEAT A LIE OFTEN ENOUGH IT BECOMES TRUTH!

The Main Stream Media's, - REPEAT AFTER ME NOW- "Great Orator Obama" could show us just how great of an orator he is. Just turn off his teleprompter and let him show us his "stuff." He has certainly shown us with his uh uh uh's that he is anything but a "great orator" that the MSM continues to spew forth.

As long as the teleprompter does not break the MSM will declare it the greatest speech in history.

I keep waiting for one of the knucleheads to explain to me how it would be possible for Obama to surpass the concensus "greatest speech since the Sermon of the Mount": The post-Jermiah Wright race relations speech in Chicago. The one that gave Chris Matthew a thrill going down his leg.

This article is pointless. By the time Obama is done the Gettysburgh Address won't be in the top ten presidential speeches.

Maybe it will be damp and very cold and his speech will be very long.

Hussein could burp the Iranian national anthem and the MSM would have vapours. I’d rather have my eyes eaten out by gerbils than watch/listen to this Chicago thug.

The msm made sure O got away with a campaign of schtick over substance.

The campaign was the DRAMA CLUB vs. the CHESS CLUB, and the DRAMA CLUB won.

Expect an inaugural MELO-DRAMA.
