Clinton was a great politician, but not that great a speaker. Quick, try to remember something memorable he said in office. No, “I did not have sex with that woman,” doesn’t count.

Great expectations. From ZERO.

There are millions of people who can read a great speech written by others. And whatever speech ZERO reads, will have to be written by others in his staff since he will be contributing very little to its content since there's very little content to the person.

Words ... are ... cheap. Must be why he has so many of them. There have be lots of great speechifiers in political history. Il Duce and that German guy in the 30's neither of which had good ends.
I'm sure what ever Obama says will be gushed over by the media. He's our 'My Little Pony' president:
For 25 years, MY LITTLE PONY has given little girls a world of surprises and spontaneity, sunshine and silliness...
Exactly the media mindset and the logical depth of Obama voters.

To quote the Messiah in one of his campaign speeches, "Words...just words!".
Of course the left is going to swoon over whatever the anointed one says, their playbook dictates it. The press is going to play herald trumpets from the east...I'm surprised the whole ceremony isn't being held at sunrise.
But when all is said and done, and the millions of dollars is spent on the "pah-tay", he is still "the kenyan". He will have taken an oath that has not yet been proven to be legal.
He will still be an empty suit exuding hot air; he will still base he whole success in office on how "cool" he looks and how much money he can redistribute.
I will not be watching the ceremony because of other engaging responsibilities, like, cleaning out the junk drawer in the kitchen cabinets, rewinding all by CD's, and checking the oil in my car.
I might watch the pah-tay [read: riots] afterwards if anything exciting happens.
Washington D.C. is going to find out how much Atlanta "enjoyed" Freaknik.

Is there even anyone like this left in this country?
Up to now we have, thankfully, been short on military dictators.I'm referring to someone who has the cojones to tell Congress just what they have become. That's why I said "with a few modifications".

The guy has absolutely no clue what he is doing. He is in so far over his head, I expect to see and hear from him less and less as time goes on. I wouldn’t even put it past him to break down and end up in the funny farm. I’ve seen others who stumbled their way up the ladder only to melt into a babbling withdrawn state of mind when they find themselves up against the pressures they faced. When the guys in the white suits find him under the oval office desk sucking his thumb in a fetal position, we will know.

The relevant issue in Cromwell's speech was not its eloquence. It was the musketeers standing around with their fixed bayonets. That's what got the Parliament's attention.
someone who has the cojones to tell Congress just what they have become.
There are lots of people who have the cojones to say this and do say it. It's just that Congresscritters will continue to be able to ignore them as long as the people continue to re-elect them.
Not you or me, perhaps, but the voters as a group. Any group being re-elected at a well over 90% rate can be expected to assume they're doing what the people want them to do. Blame the voters. We get the Congress we deserve.

I have no doubt that Zero’s speech will be the greatest speech in the history of oral pleasure. The Democrat “mainstream” newsrooms will be panting about it for a week and telling us just how magnificent it was. I will not be watching.
Zero is not my president.

Isn't there some way the teleprompter could fail?
I'd actually watch the horrible thing in that case.

Cromwells 1653 speech is quite fitting as it has several implications for today.
BHO will be quite the tyrant if given the chance, and our congress has been selling the people down the river for years. This could be the reason the founders “...a republic, if you can keep it” and “we need a revolution every 20 years”
