I have suggested from the beginning that he is on and has been on meds for a long time...Hence, no medical report..Not that they would write it up anyways.
Alternative energy, no matter what form will raise electric rates!

Bullsh!t. Three thousand miles is less than once across America. The real life distribution grid is up and down streets and alleys, across mountain ranges, down country roads with laterals up canyons and across farm fields. Three thousand miles is like spit on a hot sidewalk. It will disappear while you are looking.
Doubling renewable energy capacity in three years ain't gonna happen. It is amazing how the pinhead class thinks that by virtue of an election they are now adequately educated to pontificate on anything and everything. Renewable energy, overall, requires subsidies to keep producers afloat. Eventually the law of diminishing returns catches up to you. Why spend $10 to get $5 worth of energy?

Or locate new power plants closer to the point of use (major cities) to reduce transmission losses. California needs to do this, but they won't. They'll just whine for more federal intervention to remedy their self-inflicted limitations.
Let’s review.
We are going to install generation that costs twice as much as conventional technology. We are going to double the installed base from 2% of our power to maybe 4%.
That new generation capacity is highly dispersed across the landscape. To get the power to the market will require massive investment in thousands of miles of new transmission line capacity that is not required with conventional power sources.
And this is going to lower our energy prices. Only a lawyer communist with zero economics or engineering training would believe that. This approach is as likely to lower power prices as having magical unicorns running endlessly on treadmills.
I have believed this from the day he announced he was running. In the 30s, much of the populace was fighting for communism believing it was the solution to failed capitalism. I believe they are intentionally replaying that script.
Damn Straight! You probably can't get the DESIGN done in three years. Then you'll be fighting the environmentalists for at least a decade. Then another few years for construction. Realistically, you're looking at 15 to 20 years in today's business, environmental and regulatory climate. This country has completely lost the "can do" spirit that once made us great.
Obama could power the new plants with all of Planned Parenthood’s aborted babies. There’s a renewable resource readily available.
DemoRATS’ traditional beef has been that we don’t check containers enough.
Why would we need new power lines and an update of the grid? The Democrats are going to shut down the coal-fired utilities, refuse to allow us to drill for gas and oil, and never build another nuclear plant. The grid is more than adequate for Boone Picken's and Nancy Pelosi's windmills and the solar expansion which is all that will remain for power generation.
It's like all the highways they plan to build for the plug-in cars that there will be no electricity to run.
Of course, the government doesn't want either - they want what brings the biggest return from their own private investments. Pelosi's heavily invested in T. Boone Picken's outfit. I'd like to see some of the other Senator's investments.
Actually, if you look at all the capacity additions to the transmission system already under way, I would say that it's not too far off from 3000 miles. That's only 100 projects of 30 miles each, or two projects per state.
I'm not ready to go that far yet, but he definitely comes from the dictum that "If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with Bullsh*t.
He has no policy except being childlishly anti-anything that Bush or the GOP would bring up so far. It’s going to be a hodgepodge of nuisances (at best) he is going come up with so as to hurt us. The man not only lacks character but sadly the very charisma and clever character the media tried to ascribe to him.

I wonder if he is going to nuke someone, like Mao thought it would make him bigger and badder emperor than previous ones if he killed more under his rule than under the Golden Hordes or some Ming dynasty.
