Obama & Biden certainly aren't helping things and probably are making things worse (at least psychologically) in their constant effort to lower the bar for themselves. Ive never heard such doom & gloom from an administration with the absence of even one iota of optimism.
These kind of statements from Obama & Biden are purely self-serving, show lack of self confidence and are not what this country needs to hear right now.

Clinton claimed the same exact thing and used that as an excuse to back away from his promise middle class tax cuts. Many of predicted B HO would do the same, except he sent out Biden to do it instead.
