Sure, they pay their taxes when they're up for a Cabinet position and they're
caught. No penalties or interest though, just a smug shrug and claims of ignorance of the law. We, The Peons would be sent to jail.
Our government is so corrupt, so fat and laughing and decadent, that it has become a royal circus and a maggot farm.

I was watching ABC, I believe, local news this morning and they ran a national segment about Daschle’s tax problems. At the point where you would expect a video of Daschle they ran one of Mitch McConnell appearing to give an apology. Is he involved in something or was he reading a statement for some reason ... looked like they were doing a little smear?
