It wasn’t a natural death. Socks had ‘help’.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I have an 18 year old kitty myself.

I hope your kitty is doing well! Older kitties are special.

After months of treatment for cancer. You don’t let an animal keep suffering.
To: NormsRevenge
Socks, in happier times.

Hard to believe the death of a cat is news.
To: NormsRevenge
I thought that Weekly World News ran some good articles on Socks the Cat back in the 90s, but a search failed to turn anything up.
So, I have to make do with this photo of Pope Benedict XVI exorcising Nancy Pelosi:

I agree with you. I suspect ARKANSIDE !!!
Does anyone know if the cat was recently around Fort Marcy park ??
To: NormsRevenge
Certainly the most honest of all the Clintons. RIP little kitty.

No, exorcism only works if one is possessed by an evil spirit. When it’s the person themselves it doesn’t do anything.
Geez, don’t give Pelosi an out for her heart-felt passionate beliefs by implying it’s a demon in her that is responsible. SHE IS responsible. And accountable.

My 14 year old short haired calico was euthanized last Monday. Like Socks, she had cancer - Lymphoma.
I’m not a vet, but what I’ve learned from this experience is that cancer in older cats is very very tough to beat. Sometimes the cure is tougher than the disease.
My deepest sympathy to you, Sandy, and to those who loved and cared for Socks. This is my first weekend without Scarlet and I miss her terribly.
To: OldSmaj
Except they had Socks when they still lived in Arkansas.

“Socks and Buddy. The only Clintons I liked.”
Yeah. You and me, too, but even they were sorely tempted to behave like animals while with the Clintons.

Taken by a friend during a whitehouse tour, in the basement, which is where Socks lived when not on photo-op duty:
