>> They push our side to make emotional decisions based on excerpts and sound bites.

I asked you point blank what it was about the excerpt that made it a “sound byte” and not representative of the meaning of the piece.

You did not answer.

I conclude that you are not a dicriminating thinker, but rather, a knee jerk Romney syncophant.

“I also think its important for us to nod to the president when he’s right,” Romney said. “He will not always be wrong.”

I wholeheartedly disagree with nodding at the president when he is right.

Every ounce of energy I spend will be on getting Obama and every liberal in control of the Federal legislature OUT OF THERE. My every political breath will be get these Marixst/Socialist, unprincipled, power hungry POSs out of there and get real, principled conservatives in every single seat possible in 2010 and 2012.

So we should applaud when he screws the country up?

Hell no. I will never applaud for this man. He is an invader and a Marxist power hungry egomaniac.

I was disappointed to hear Monica Crowley supports him for president in 2012.

You point...??

I know you meant "your point" and I'm not going to take cheap shots. My typing is not all that great either. But look, this is The Hill. Do you think that they want to give an accurate picture of this speech, of what was said? They hint at the fact that it might have been a bit tougher on this hideous person than what they print just to appear down the middle, so to speak, but what do they quote? That which might just make conservatives angry.

We are dumb and we are easily manipulated. They count on it.

I'm just puzzled why Americans still believe there is a dimes worth of difference between these two parties.

Sure, ideological points such as abortion and drilling off the coast make it seem there's a political battle raging.

Truth is, the white house and congress are making a sure true path toward the destruction of this country through either liberalism or globalism.

Get there slow or get there a bit more rapidly, but socialist society will be the trails end if each of these parties remain in power.

Think about it for a moment folks....even when the republicans had it ALL, the move to undo decades of progressive liberal policy never materialized.

The poor are still poor, still pumping hundreds of millions into a failed drug WAR, larger government, more and more jobs leaving the country, more dependent on foreign countries for our energy needs, to carry our debt and national identity evaporating with the influx of millions of immigrants...legal and illegal.

The democrat and republican parties are selling out the American citizen for a buck and for power.

Wake up y'all before it's too late.

I actually took the time to respond to you, but it will be a waste of my time. Not a big deal though.

Not only are we losing our country, we are losing our ideals too. This is twice today it was obvious they didn’t even read the story at hand before being hooked. Unreal.

The RINO Party Alert.

Just say no to liberals, turncoats, and traitors!

We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended.
We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals of our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the party over to the so-called moderates wouldn't make any sense at all.

Nope, I only ask fellow conservatives to read an article before making a democrat like response in reference to it.

There’s no “there”, there, so far. As in, no evidence that what you say is the way it really is. I see a report, with honest-to-goodness quotes in it. You? Nothing but fear-uncertainty-doubt.

So there’s more to the speech than was posted here (and, I might add, elsewhere)?

Fine. Pony up some evidence to the contrary, and I might see it your way.

Fail to pony up any evidence, and I rest my case: you’re a Romney syncophant living in your own dream world.

'm just puzzled why Americans still believe there is a dimes worth of difference between these two parties.

You are not paying attention

Sure, ideological points such as abortion and drilling off the coast make it seem there's a political battle raging.

Killing babies is hardly a toss-aside issue as you would posit.

Truth is, the white house and congress are making a sure true path toward the destruction of this country through either liberalism or globalism.

"Globalism" is a fact. Only children don't see the sky is blue when their fairy tale books tell them otherwise.

Under Conservative principles we have maximum liberty, maximum freedom and we allow the capitalistic forces that made the USA great to operate. The socialists, as we have seen in as few as 2 months, want the government to take everything over and dictate everything.

Get there slow or get there a bit more rapidly, but socialist society will be the trails end if each of these parties remain in power.

It is possible for the Republican Party to return to Conservative Principles. It has happened before, it will happen again. If we band together and ignore pessimistic fools like you.

Think about it for a moment folks....even when the republicans had it ALL, the move to undo decades of progressive liberal policy never materialized.

Welfare Reform started under Conservative policies and had such momentum that a liberal POTUS could not stop them.

The poor are still poor, still pumping hundreds of millions into a failed drug WAR, larger government, more and more jobs leaving the country, more dependent on foreign countries for our energy needs, to carry our debt and national identity evaporating with the influx of millions of immigrants...legal and illegal.

More the reason for us to find and support people who understand and support True Conservatism within a realistic framework. Remember: slightly more than 50% of our countrymen are stupid enough to elect a non-American dilettante teleprompter reader as POTUS.

The democrat and republican parties are selling out the American citizen for a buck and for power.

This new how?

Wake up y'all before it's too late.

You think yours is the first voice this this way? Add something of substance and then you can blow the bugle.
