The DUers have an insane beyond parody thread going where one nancy is argues that the pirate’s actions are “understandable” because the West polluted and over-fished those scenic Somali coastal waters. They are really just nice fishermen you see. Lets see if Obama has the balls to blow a few sammies out of their life boat.

Considering that the Korean War never officially ended, then yes, in a way the US was still at war with North Korea in 1968. American soldiers were killed in the Korean DMZ during the ‘70s, too.
Of course you could argue that the Korean “War” was a UN-mandated police action, but that is really splitting hairs.
