Yes, I know [Trump] owns one of them. I don’t remember which.

I believe it is the Miss Universe...but again, don’t hold my feet the fire if I am wrong. This is why I want to clarify who the owners of Miss USA are. I would hope the Donald would never put up with such crap. Hopefully he would say, “Your fired.”

It appears, based on 11 year old info, that you are correct:
The New York Post for May 11, 1998 reports that Donald Trump, who owns the Miss Universe Contest, has ruled in favor of allowing Miss Puerto Rico to compete.

WHAT is sooooo idiotic (and a truth in our times)....is that the Question was asked.....and usually when you ask a Question....you accept the answer....you do NOT editorialize on it....or question it, etc....unless it’s a written test.....this is LUDICROUS. And, the Perezy guy is a scumbag.

I don’t think she sounded like an idiot in the least. She started off by saying we live in a country where people can make their own choices...and in some states, on this issue, that is so. In California, it had been so (to their shame IMHO) but now has been voted back. She then stated her own opinion and I respect her for so doing and giving a clear answer to a question that the Judges and others there wanted to either have completely PC, or set the other way.

Thank you for your response.

I have to wonder how Donald Trump feels about this awful Miss U.S. contest. Reason being, this could affect the credibility of his own Miss America/Miss Universe show.

He could stand to lose also, although it was not his show.

Again, it has to do with overall credibility with like shows.

I think we should all write to Donald Trump, who owns the pageant, and tell him if he chooses to politicize this pageant any more, we will not watch ANY of his programs. PERIOD...and we MUST FOLLOW THROUGH

Great idea. You'd think The Donald would have enough respect for women by being the first in line to take Perez out?! If he keeps quiet on this issue, I have to assume "silence is affirmation" so to hell with watching his padgents ever again.

Yes, but she said you can choose same-sex marriage or regular marriage. Listen again. There is NO law that allows gay marriage other than every now and again one or another state will try it and then it gets voted out. I hate to say it but she did sound dumb. Sorry you don’t see it that way. She girls are not in Miss USA because they are necessarily articulate geniuses.

I am, however, with her 100 percent for finally sticking to her Christian beliefs and convictions. What I think was really going on was there was an internal spiritual thing there for a few seconds. She even said in the interview on Fox that God was speaking to her.

She’s a beautiful girl and I’m sure she’s intelligent - I don’t like to be on the spot either.

Where did this Perez Hilton come from is what I want to know.

Regards, Jeff!

Did you the the interview she did on Cavuto? The chance of her having voted for Obama is zero.

Why was this ugly snarling fairy judging women in the first place?

Seems it can’t even judge the correct equipment for coupling, surely it’s not capable of judging real females no matter how many drag shows it’s attended or performed in.

There’s madness in allowing a rabid little pillow biter to decide anything concerning a woman beyond what shampoo to use when she’s getting a haircut.

This particular woman might be quite articulate when not put on the spot on nationwide TV, but in general when you select for one trait - in this case physical beauty - you eliminate an awful lot of women who are good at another trait - glibness.

But I think that beauty contests by their nature are PC events. And although nominally it is a chance for guys to see a lot of feminine pulchritude, in reality the nature of the event is that the judges themselves aren't actually hetero men. Very often they are female celebs. So the standards are compromised by political correctness, and the winner will be pretty, but also PC to please the judges. Another contestant may be prettier, but less glib, and will show badly in the PC department.

Even if all that is true, and you’re probably right, the treatment she received afteward by thei PUTZ is disgraceful and reflects badly on the entire organization.

I don’t take glee in raging against homosexuality. As long as they stay away from me and my children I could care less.

But it is this “ACT UP” in your face PC attitude that earns my disdain.

Perez Hilton and most “act up” gays are the weak B’s.

They literally can’t handle the truth that most of America thinks they have deviant lifestyle. Miss California is somewhat of a cultural hero for standing up for her beliefs and opinions, despite the PC backlass from his gayness, Hilton.

There is a poll on Yahoo at this time on this subject.

Our side is pounding the gay butt boys like Hilton.

http://js.polls.yahoo.com/quiz/quiziframe.php?poll_id=44881

Go to the site and vote to pound more shame on the truly ugly/two ton gay butt boy, Hilton.

Carrie Prejean caused a stir on the Miss USA stage when she said marriage should only be between a man and a woman. Judge Perez Hilton and others in the pageant slammed the response, which may have cost her the crown. On the talk-show circuit Prejan has stood by her response and garnered praise from opponents of same-sex marriage.

What do you think? Does Prejean deserve criticism or praise for her response?

She should be criticized. That sort of prejudice should never be tolerated. 11%
She should be praised for expressing her opinion. 87%
Not sure/No opinion. 1%
