Would 50% of the population of the United States fit in Texas? I know they could physically fit, but would there be enough resources? water? food? jobs? Working people generate nearly twice what their families consume. Producing isn't a zero sum game for food, jobs, or anything else!
Water can be an issue, but with careful planning for the growth, they can support about 10 times the current TX population on their current water.
The real question is: Does Texas have room to store the equipment for the 90% or more of the US military that would rather serve a free state than a tyrant?

You assume that because Pelosi and Zero order troops to do something that they will do it. Most troops are from Red States. I seriously doubt that such orders would actually be followed.

Do you have room in your backyard for a 23 foot camper and four righteous conservatives, who homeschool, hunt and work hard?
I have my FReeper card ready to prove who I am.
(and my daughter would instantly want to adopt your three legged lab)

Not the camper. I’m looking for (shhh) a rural place though. I’m also going to be homechooling my grandchildren , come Sept. Having figured out how yet though (gulp). As for Cowboy...he belongs to my mom. 80 pds of affection:’)

My little one is 90 pounds of “affection receiver”! For having one tiny doggie in her life, she adores the less fortunate one’s the best.
We can help you homeschool. Been doing it now for six years. The girls are two years ahead of “real life”, as they say...

Texans can expect to be overrun with immigrant and refugees. And we can expect the looters and parasites to emigrate right back to the USSA. So it balances out.

Water, the FIRST order of business would be a crash project for nuclear reactors .... desalinization plants on the coasts and cheap electricity ... we can finance that through current revenues ... we'd just cut every social welfare service to the BONE.
We'd lose probably 4 million illegals and new conservative immigrants might have to take some crap jobs in the beginnings.

I can almost guarantee the social programs would stop overnight, and anyone who didnt like it would be dropped off at the east/west borders - on the other side of the wall. What about us old timers who paid into the ponzi scheme of SS all our lives? Would we be immediately cut off? Could we at least have a choice intersection with sign making material?

Good point, and good catch. I should have said that the social programs designed for those who are able but refuse to work would/should stop. I doubt most tax payers have an issue supporting the elderly, sick, disabled, vets and even single parents.
Of course, we wouldn’t have access to the dwindling SS account, so I’m not sure how it would work out. I’m sure they’d find a way.
Teaching children to save instead of spend would help ensure that a program like SS would (by and large) not be needed in 1-2 generations.

" After all, that they make such incredible sacrifices for our freedoms drives us to exercise them in respect to their service."
Exercise?
Mr. Nugent is referring to exercising the freedoms those soldiers and police mentioned in the previous sentance had sacrificed one way or the other to protect.
