Independent voters believed Obama would be mainstream?....OMG! And guess whose fault this is?....The damn media never questioned anything Obama did! His radical background didn’t bother any of these so called independent voters? Anything that questioned his experience to be president was stuffed!

they actually did pretty decent for awhile when it was a divided govt. The growth really kicked in when they had a rubber stamp in the white house.
The LP is too accepting of illegal immigration for me. Not that the GOP is great, but at least it has some patriots on the issue.
Anyone who calls themself a Libertarian and voted for Obama is an idiot and does not know what a Libertarian truely is, simple as that.
Sure, some libertarians want to legalize drugs, gay marriage and abortion, but most want less government and less taxes. So Libertarians who only want gay drug doing abortionist, but taxes to go through the roof, and free health care ect, there is a party for you already called the Green Party, or Democrat party. Stay out of the Libertarian party please! We do not want your liberty hating communist side any where near Libertarianism.
Kinda like Bill Marhar who calls himself a Libertarian but is always salvating at Democrats and Obama, just makes me scratch my head.
What’s worse is that Bush could’ve followed the Obama playbook and rammed through every single piece of conservative legislation in the first 100 days. But Bush wasn’t a conservative on anything but social and foreign policy issues.

I sure hope you are correct re the one-term for zero. But are we certain those who put him over the top in ‘08 were Independents?
What about all the ‘youths’ and/or minorities who supported him en masse and will undoubtedly do so in the next election no matter what a disaster his administration has been? Who REALLY voted for zero anyway? Any statistics?

He lied. He's a democrat. Most of them pretend to have conservative values and win.
Now, if only the conservatives would do the same - but mean it!
I would be so happy to have true representatives that represent us. If we can get the independents to follow conservative lines we can sweep the house clean again.
