Any sort of killers you don’t support? You like drunk drivers so much are there are any other murderers you don’t like?

As you should be. Drunk driving is completely 100 percent inexcusable.

“So you’re excusing a completely worthless human being (anyone that drives drunk is a worthless human being) killing someone if it’s a bad time of night?”

No, cannot excuse that. I’m just saying that Soccer Moms that go ape over Alar in apples, or some microscopic amount of arsenic in drinking water might want to spend a few moments actually raising their kids and informing them of the risks out there, rather than depending on an organization of insane mothers to protect those kids.

What is the difference between supporting drunk drivers and supporting any other killers?

Both there is no excuse.

I had 3 friends killed by one of your heroes. These 3 kids were heading home from working at Great America in Gurnee while the POS you worship with a .14 alcohol level crashed into them.

The disgusting POS lived and HE KILLED 3 PEOPLE!

The disgusting POS killed 3 people just for the heck of it. He got roaring drunk and for the heck of it decidded to drive and went out and killed 3 young people.

This hero to all you questioning MADD and drunk driving laws don’t feel any sympathy for the families of 3 kids and cheer their killer.

I’m sorry for being so strong on this but I am sick of those who think drunk driving is fine and dandy.

you deserve to see someone you love die at the hands of a drunk driver. But I realize that their lives are already bad enough being part of yours.

Nothing is 100% in this world. If I were ripped and one of my kids legitimately needed a ride to the emergency room (and no other options were available), yea, I’d drive him there.

And guess what, I would put my 0.11 drunk driving skills up against any sober 90 year old licensed driver, any day of the week. (although all bets are off above that level)

>>It appears they go before a judge and get a warrant to take your blood.<<

Does a warrant not need some justification. “We want that guys blood” does not seem like justification. If you were observed driving erratically, of course, that is a different situation.

What is the formal organization for those who are for drunk driving? There NAMBLA for child molesters. Anything similar for drunk drivers? It would be the same thing.

What does 90 year old drivers have to do with it? They should be stopped to.

You have no regard for human life. People that do don’t get into situations where they need to drink and drive.

It’s called a designated driver. Or a cab.

There are exceptions but I highly doubt people with no regard for life are taking their kids to the ER.

Why not do what my husband and his friends who go out on the last Friday of every month do? They switch off who the designated driver is.

It’s called DAMM (Drunks Against Madd Mothers). They pretty much give people the skills to deal with the corrupt system that keeps jailing them.

“You have no regard for human life. People that do don’t get into situations where they need to drink and drive.”

Thanks, this was a fun thread - and no, I don’t drive drunk - and yes, I do drink - but ALWAYS with a non-drinking wife to drive me home (without exception).

I’m just trying to get people to question their ingrained assumptions about things. For example, people don’t buy a house based on which supermarket they must shop at (i.e., live on Peach Street, you are only permitted to go to Kroger; but live on Valley Lane, you then must go to Walmart). Pretty sick.

Yet we do just that regarding public schools...

They have tame judges who will sign a search warrant on demand. They take you to the jail, where they use whatever force is necessary to take the blood out of your arm under less than sanitary conditions.

You all aren’t functioning under the quaint notion that you live in a free country with constitutional rights, are you?

My freedom to go about my business is worth more than your disgusting attempt to embrace statism and security over liberty.

And our illegals who are driving drunk,

Well, you were the first to make note of that. Now you got me started. There are so many illegals who are DUI, get in a wreck, jump and run. They also drive without insurance and usually have a P0$ for a vehicle. Many also drive stolen vehicles or one that was previously totalled and "fixed" at a chop shop with no title.

It is astounding to me that anyone on this thread would defend driving after you have been drinking, at all.

There are no rules as to when or where someone will be driving drunk - it can be late at night or during the day - any day of the week - young or old. And yes, you and I live in areas with a high concentration of illegals and your description was perfect about them.
