On a major trip (as this is being characterized), doesn't it seem odd that the first lady isn't with him?

I thought I read someplace that a Muslim is not permitted to bring a non-Muslim spouse into the kingdom. Is that true? Because Bush, as a non-Muslim, would not be bound by such a rule. Remember, Laura Bush did accompany President Bush to the Middle East.

Anyone know about this?
