DC, if you find out, let me know. We had bees living in the walls of our 200 year old farmhouse for years. When we got out house sided two years ago, the siding guys removed them (it was in December). We figured we had the problem licked. Well, last year they tried to get in. Mr sneakers filled in holes around windows, etc. He thwarted their efforts. This year, they succeeded in getting in. Same place as where the nest was two years ago! It’s too high up to get to. I’m glad to have bees around - but not in our house!!!

Great googly moogly man! Call a beekeeper, he can remove the bees, however, you probably have 20-30 gallons of honey and honey comb in your walls. Do NOT use any bugkiller/pesticide or you will ruin it for consumption.....and yes, it all has to come out or you'll have significant home issues.
Wanted to add be sure they also do clean up and not just removal. You can get some real nasties if any of the wax is allowed to remain. It rots and attracts other insects.
I see you say the bees are not african which means a no kill removal is possible.

BTW....yard is posted No Tresspassing. I also have "Tresspassers will be shot, survivors shot again posted".
Just post a sign reading, "Tresspassers will swell up like a balloon, go into anaphylactic shock, and their airway will close off"
What are some of those issues? Neighbor said, mildew and mold. Do the bees actually destroy insulation, wiring, wood studs, etc?

After a while it just becomes one big buzzing noise.
Back in my day, we had images of bees on our nickles. “Give me five bees for a quarter,” we’d say! Of course, that was before the Great War, where there was a red-potato shortage. We used to wear white potatoes on our belts to show support for the war.

If you wish to keep the bees they remove, you may need a special permit, depending on the zoning where you live.
Best you check into this.
