Rollins is a blithering idiot. His skills as an advisor can be seen by looking at the current admistration.

I wouldn’t let that POS mow my lawn unsupervised

And, from the long view it is like some of the martial arts.

The more the RINO’s resist her, the greater will be her support.

“And of course Mo Dowd is checking in on Sunday, according to Drudge, with a typical trash tirade.”

Maureen Dowd . . . hmm, I think I remember her.

Isn’t she the washed-up columnist and bitter spinster who couldn’t keep Michael Douglas interested?

It must be hell being an aging feminist who can’t get a man.

Rollins was the brain behind te brilliant Huckleberry campaign. before that he was on the bench and out of the game for a long time.

In the end none of this punditry matters, because if Palin is intending to go for the race in 2012 she will sink or swim on her ability to raise money and grow a support organization in the next couple years. That will depend on her personal strengths, and the present situation will prove to be irrelevant in the end.

My first post on this subject. What is most interesting to me is that I think her reasoning was crystal clear from her announcement: family and finances. On that basis, it is an outstanding decision. Another two years would have added at least $3 million to her legal expenses, with little means to pay for it. This frees her up to make better money, while becoming less of a target.

Another very interesting thing is that these pundits seem unable to believe that what she said is what she meant. All the analysis I have seen is through the prism of presidential politics and strategy. They seem unable to grasp that anything else might have been in play...

That is no bomb. We know some people think that because they supported other candidates. Just how did Obama climb the mountain since he was not in DC for votes many, many times. I trust Sarah more than any of the candidates we had before. She wants what is best for this country unlike McCain, Mitt, and the others. I would support Sarah anyway I could. You have to do better than that!

I think she’ll engineer a 2010 conservative come back in the house and Senate like Newts 1994 “Contract With America” and then proceed to kick tail in the 2012 Presidential election.

It is not like we have an abundance of conservatives that could pull this off, but she could.

This is NOT the America that we had in the past, and the old-school Republican/Democrat political processes are NOT going to be the same in the future, especially with ACORN funded with billions of tax dollars and controlling the census.

The ONLY chance Conservatives have of over-coming the Frankenesque-voting fraud is to win over those who voted for a black simply to "feel good" as to their white guilt. Now that they are un-employed, lost their investments, etc., and see what this Marxist takeover is doing, they will be looking for a TRUE traditional-values candidate, and I believe Sarah will pick up plenty of momentum as the state-run-media over-play their attacks.....only the entitlements-crowd will support The Messiah, and that means the minorities (black and Hispanic).

Absolutely, money was only part of the equation.

She has a big family including a new baby with downs syndrome and a 17 years old who is being savaged almost as much as she is.

In addition she has a book deal coming up which will take time, and the fund raising necessities alone will be enormous.

Zero already has a one year head start on her and he has the entire US treasury to buy votes with and has been doing so since the day he took office!

Her speech money will yield valuable family income while if she had stayed in office the same idiot libs who file all those worthless suits with the help of other high powered dems would have just created even more.

Now it will be harder to go after her. One of the biggest reasons she resigned was she is not the type of person to work for someone, anyone and not do that specific job. She obviously saw it would be impossible to do so and she quit.

Ethical and honorable come to mind.

Rollins has been undermining conservatives for over 40 years

Like in 1984, when he ran the Reagan campaign?

Like, Ed's advice got McCain as a candidate and McCain as President? And Ed's advice got the GOP where it is today? With all those GOP elected to House and Senate?

RINO’s are the past, Ed. Not the future.
