Photobucket obama: "...and after I swatted the fly, I squeezed it like this". Merkel:(thinking) "There is something very seriously wrong with this guy"

Get your hands off me you piece of ****

This is Obama trying to dominate Angela Merkle by putting his grubby paws on her.
The person who who does the patronizing touching is dominant. Bill Clinton would do this

Look how close his hand is to her breasts ... that's pretty intimidating as well ...

Our presidents just can’t keep their hands off Ms Merkel, can they?

Isn’t she the one that was creeped out when Bush touched her? So why is Obama touching her?

It's almost like they both received a CIA briefing that said: "Be sure to touch Merkel. That's the way to get somewhere with her."

He does that touching thing to establish dominance. It’s an old trick and she doesn’t look too pleased.

Reminds of the famous photo where Netanyahu was giving Zer0 much the same look. Zer0 is in so far over his head that it isn’t even funny.

Memo to Mr. Obama: No Touching!!

To be fair, he's far more respectful than, say, Sarkozy. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

But she does have other reasons to dislike him.

Let's start with his (occasional) smug face.

I also agree that placing your hand(s) over one's shoulder is a patronizing behavior in some circumstances (let's not get into the 2006 G8 summit 'incident'). She reportedly complained about Sarkozy constantly patting her on the back and putting his hand on her shoulder.

Please refrain from touching my wife.

You heard him.

Now, enough of this bs.

I don't think they hate each other. As libh8er pointed out, they have issues to work through. Obama wants more German troops in Afghanistan, but her hands are tied with the elections coming up in September. Growing up in East Germany has made her repel the all too powerful State, so she may continue to reject some of his plans for the world economy.

If he continues to send this sort of message (that she's "difficult") or gets in her way during her campaign, then they'll start to clash. I hope that doesn't happen, though.
