Suit Challenges Two-Thirds Vote On Taxes

This suit may be filed in frustration with California State University’s just announced plan to not have a spring 2010 enrollment. CSU is trying to reduce enrollment by 40,000 students. CSU is plugging a $584 million budget reduction.

And yet, we have a $1.2M Blueberry Commission and a $300M cash for clunkers program. Yes, fully funded by California tax money. (((((screaming here)))))

I know one gal that got the hell out of Cali and moved back to Texas (no state income tax here)... she got sick and tired of her bank account/pay checks getting bled dry.

The suit described Young as “a citizen, taxpayer, and voter of the State of California, interested in seeing that the California government carries out its public duty consistent with constitutional mandates...” and that sounded so familiar.
