Yes, let's run Mitt. First he can go after Obama’s ties to Wall Street and then they can debate health care.

gallup is nothing but a state run polling firm... chavez would be proud. Anyone that thinks mitt will beat Palin in the nomination process is wrong... and that is the nicest thing that I can think to say.

Currently, 72% of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents have a favorable opinion of Palin, compared with 56% for Romney and 59% for Huckabee.

Gee. The title doesn't reflect that.

I support Sarah Palin for President 2012, and anything she wants to do with my money is OK with me. I have trust in no other politician at this point. Romney wants to be (a) god!

More BS from the Mitt wits

There was a time when I could have supported Romney for president. But with Palin on the scene as the read deal conservative, she makes Romney look like a white Obama. I could never support him now.

LOLOL...........oh this is just amazing.

And who paid for this poll.

As always, who pays for the poll gets the results they’d paid for.

I’ve had it after the McCain travesty. I’ll stick with Sarah, whereever she winds up. If it’s a new party, see ya there.

Kinda funny Sarah hasn't announced she is actually running in 2012 and Huckster and Flipper are still running losing campaigns from 2008.

And Sarah is STILL polling better.

I like Sarah better than anyone else the GOP has to offer.
No third parties! That is the surest road to defeat. Retake the GOP for conservatives.
Kick the RINOs to the curb!

a poll this far out does not mean much i am surprised though that Romney would edge out both Huck and Palin mainly due to the fact that Palin has been in the news a lot recently and Huck has his own show. Romney just pops in now and again without any sustained exposure. Ideology aside, I do think Romney is well placed for a 2012 run. Deep pockets, his national network that can be easily reactivated and some people are going to find his business background a plus in this environment. that being said i sincerely hope an unknown real conservative governor comes out of hiding to win though.

“No third parties! That is the surest road to defeat. “

you hit the nail on the head on that one
anyone who thinks a third party has a credible shot at the white house is delusional at best

Should have included none of the above. Guess who would be ahead.

Those aren’t bad numbers; shows she’s still in the game, regardless of what the MSM keeps reporting.

After all of this high drama they keep whipping up about her, all of these polls show that nothing has changed - the top 3 contenders are still the top 3. No one is pulling away from the pack and it will probably remain that way until we get closer to 2012.

That’s OK Republicans- go ahead and back your RINOs. You will soon be the THIRD party in this country when SARAH founds the CONSERVATIVE PARTY.

I want to point out how short-sighted is your post. On another blog, an extremely conservative poster (who also thinks she is entitled to take her ball and go home if things don't go her way) just posted she will not support Palin because she quit her job but she could support Pawlenty, Jindahl, or Huckabee.

Well, I find Huckabee unacceptable, I'm skeptical about Pawlenty and Jindahl is a possibility but you get the idea. I'm likely to be disappointed in who becomes our nominee but I know full well, I will remain united in my desire to save my country from the grips of these Dumbocrats the best I can.

Bad news. If you want to save our country from evil RATs, we're going to need every Republican we can get--even RINOs.

Too many posters on FR do not understand the numbers game. It's reality.
