The percentages I have seen range from 10 percent (academic essay) to 16.5 percent (Reuters). The only source I have seen that puts the rate of nurse unionization at 20 percent is the SEIU, which I do not trust.

This is all orchestrated. The AMA comes out for the doctors and the politburo has a similar ceremony with nurses. Timing is easy to see here.

The percentage of actual physicians who belong to the AMA is really small too. Most of them are too busy taking care of patients and trying to keep their businesses afloat for that self-important posturing.

Not true. Just as we individual citizens contacted our congress critters to stop legislation in the past, it is imperative that we do so again.
