Is this merely North Korean propaganda, or is Clinton continuing Obama's "apology" tour?

Apology Could Win Release

I don’t think there was a plan behind it. They’re just naive idiots. They’ll be in Iran for a few months...maybe end of September if they’re lucky.

Question is, why were these two women in North Korea in the first place?

Could it be ..... Air Head Al Gore!

Who cares if Clinton’s apology was sincere? You know it wasn’t. Point is, it doesn’t matter. He got the job done. He’s not called “Slick Willie” for nothing!

Maybe he can get the three US Citizens out of Iran, too...God knows that isn’t a priority on Obama’s to-do list.

Wonder if we’ll ever find out what the whole deal was?

I guess I got used to the Bushes. You would think there would be a special report from the White house any time now. Maybe the deal stinks that bad. Hope not, North Korea already didn't have much respect for us.

He may have been involved in some phone calls and suggestions before he left, but he didn’t do much except make the trip and give kim jung-il what he was promised. This was orchestrated and deals made before he ever packed his bags to go there.

I wonder what North Korea is getting out of this deal.

My guess, prestige (We made an American President come to the North and kow-tow.) and stimulus money.

“He not say ‘sorry.’ He say ‘ah-pah-ro-gize.’”

Going back to the old Chang Limbang bit.

Come to think of it, I wonder if those three Americans captured by Iran are also pawns for appeasement and apology trip by somebody from U.S.

Two American journalists wandered into NK and got caught. Three Americans wandered into Iran and got caught. Two coincidences? Or designed incidents as a FReeper suspected.

I am getting suspicious, too.

Great point. They, North Korea and Iran, we're two of the Axis f Evil. "Apology Pawns" sounds about right.

I’m glad they are coming home and it must be a relief for their families. The ‘teachable moment’ for them is witnessing FULL BLOWN, dictatorial Communism. I’ll be interested to know what they have found on ‘the other side’....and if they will be truthful to what they have seen.

There is much more to learn. Negotiating with these terrorists is a very bad precedence. Why did a disgraced ex president go? Did he take money? Were the women intelligence agents? Inquiring minds want to know!!

They didn’t get released for FREE! The devil once again will be in the details which we may not find out for years!

They learned a lot there. They will be a valuable resource to the State Run media here.

They are worth at least $5/hour at the NY Times and CNN in a free market...

$500k plus benefits with union representation.

This is from KCNA. Notice it says nothing about the release of the two women.

Kim Jong Il Meets Former U.S. President Bill Clinton Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il today met with former U.S. President Bill Clinton and his party on a visit to the DPRK. Bill Clinton courteously conveyed a verbal message of U.S. President Barack Obama to Kim Jong Il. Kim Jong Il expressed thanks for this. He welcomed Clinton's visit to the DPRK and had an exhaustive conversation with him. There was a wide-ranging exchange of views on the matters of common concern. Present there were First Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang Sok Ju and Department Director of the WPK Central Committee Kim Yang Gon.
