See Joe Wilson. See Wilson run. See Wilson debate Ohaha.

Thank you Dems. How nice of you to provide Republicans with a towering leader of national stature-—with the ability to organize huge numbers of people.

Fully 75% of America agrees with Joe Wilson. Thanks to the Dems, Republicans have a viable 2012 presidential candidate. Can’t wait for Joe Wilson’s debates with Ohaha.

“he should stand up on the House floor and say...I'm sorry, I'm sorry the president’s a liar”

Yup
Like that British lord, who during a debate in Britain's House of Lords, insulted another and was asked to give an apology. The lord stood up and said :
I called the Right Honourable Lord a thief and a liar it is true and I am sorry for it. And the Right Honourable Lord may punctuate as he pleases.”.

Bump “You lie!” a couple more news cycles and give Wilson more air.

It’s true, Dumb Dems completely slept through August.

I am completely unfamiliar with the rules of the house so I will of course proceed with my comment unencumbered by knowledge.

It's must be that the Democrats have a way of moving the matter to a vote without opening the matter for debate, or at least extended debate. I doubt very much if Joe Wilson will get a "hearing" in the true sense of the word. All of this is important, of course, because it poses a real risk to the Democrats: proceedings could spin out of control and these are proceedings in which the media must involve itself.

The danger for the Democrats is that such a proceeding becomes a hearing on 1) whether in fact Obama was lying; 2) the history of the House of Representatives in admonishing its members for shouting out "liar" or the like on the floor of the house whether in the face of the president or otherwise.

In the first instance, Obama goes on the defensive the cause he was lying in principle. In the second instance, the Democrats in the House of Representatives and in the Senate go on the defensive for their outbursts against Bush in his State of the Union messages.

The Democrats would be foolish to undertake this unless they can lock it down to a quick and dirty condemnation with no due process whatsoever.

Apparently it’s against the House rules to tell the truth where the people can hear you.

God is going to answer his prayers but not in the way he is hoping. This is blasphemy of the most extreme and I believe our Lord is going to exact the very things this ignorant moron is spewing upon himself and those of his ilk.

Proverbs 37:8-15

8Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath.
Do not fret—it leads only to evil.
9For the wicked shall be cut off,
but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land.

10Yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more;
though you look diligently for their place, they will not be there.
11But the meek shall inherit the land,
and delight in abundant prosperity.

12The wicked plot against the righteous,
and gnash their teeth at them;
13but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he sees that their day is coming.

14The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows
to bring down the poor and needy,
to kill those who walk uprightly;
15their sword shall enter their own heart,
and their bows shall be broken.

Amen. Proverbs also says:
The wicked are brought down by there own wickednes.
and
BE SURE OF THIS: THE WICKED WILL NOT GO UNPUNISHED.

Well, I heard one of his Republican colleagues saying that they (the Democrats) are looking to strip him of his committee assignments. I don’t know how that works. Can they do that, or is that controlled by the Republicans?

First, I'm wondering how many Republicans will go along with this against Wilson. It's the type of bipartisanship the RINOs love to exhibit.

Committee assignments are requested by members with incumbent members staying where they are unless they ask otherwise. The requests go to each party's leadership or committee on committees and from there on to the full body for approval. So it looks like they can do it if they want without Republican help, but again, I'm sure Wilson will be betrayed by his own party in the name of bipartisanship.

Democratic leaders are planning a House vote early next week to admonish Republican Rep. Joe Wilson if he does not apologize on the House floor for yelling ''You lie!'' during President Barack Obama's health care address to Congress.

Instead of jumping all over him for being a little rude, it would be nice if House of Representatives took a look at and commented on the substance of Wilson's outburst.

Did our President actually lie, or deliberately mislead?

What aspect of Obamacare was the POTUS being less than forthright?

Why was Wilson so compelled to make an outburst? Was he a victim of lack of bipartisanship, that is, of not being invited to talk about his input to Obamacare? Was he totally frustrated with the complex and ever-changing legislation, with the lack of communication with the Marxists?

If Wilson was correct, then should Nancy Pelosi, et al. explain themselves better and apologize to Rep. Wilson and the American people?

The country’s broke, millions without jobs, stores and businesses still closing at a terrifying rate and all these clowns in Congress can say is “tell me you’re sorry.” Pathetic!

The majority of America means nothing to the goals of followers of a socialistic regime, they will be protected for life, no more elections for them is their dreams.

The people mean nothing to them when socialistic regimes take over a country.

Why have trepidation and fear every 4 years or so trying to get re-elected when a dictator can “nominate’ you for life?

No wonder Pelosi walks around like she has a vibrator in her pantsuit.
