Let’s change that headline to “Pres Bush and VP Cheney, not courts, should interpret law” then watch liberal heads explode

He wrote the paper in 2006, so he was in fact stating this position.

WND may be trying too hard with this one.

WOW.
Is this the change that you voted for?
An Adminstration that just crumples the U.S.Constitution up, throws it on the ground and then walks over it?
These people are dangerous to America and its citizens.

But Sunstein didn’t say “Obama” should be able to interpret the law like the title implies. There’s no direct quote to hang around his neck, just his Marxist general writings.

Someone said yesterday that, "when Obama looks in the mirror while shaving, he sees an emperor." But that's a delusion of grandeur.

Trouble is, he's all too expendable. The minute he outlives his usefulness to his minders, he's toast. I have no doubt that his last 'useful' act will be one of human sacrifice to the oligarchs who put him there in the first place. Then they'll come after the rest of us.

That distant thunder that you may hear rolling through far-off hills is war.

War is coming. Here. Soon.

And, like my father before me, I am prepared to honor my oath.

I won't be alone.

The regular RINO gang voted to confirm this a-wipe:

The vote fell mostly somewhat along party lines. Republican senators Robert Bennett (UT), Orrin Hatch (UT), Susan Collins (ME), Richard Lugar (IN), Olympia Snowe (ME), and George Voinovich joined 51 Democrats (including Sen. Joe Lieberman) in voting for Sunstein. Democratic senators Mark Begich (AK), Blanche Lincoln (AR), Ben Nelson (NE), Mark Pryor (AR), Jim Webb (VA), independent Bernie Sanders (VT), and 34 Republicans voted against.

People in their districts need to get their phones working overtime!! Tell them how you feel - then VOTE THEM OUT!!!

Well, with removing power from the courts, the Dear Leader has now taken care of both of the other branches of government. He is already getting around the legislature by simply ignoring it; anything that can’t get through Congress is simply imposed through administrative means, through agencies or his “czars.” I guess he plans to do the same thing with the courts now.

There was a discussion on another thread about how cap and trade doesn’t seem likely to make it through the legislative process: but that’s okay, because Obama and the gang can simply use the EPA and other agencies, not to mention the czars, to impose regulations that have the same effect.

We are seeing a massive consolidation of power in the executive. It’s going largely unopposed by the people who should be opposing it, and is happening so fast that opposition will be virtually impossible in no time at all.

How can anyone read that and not realize the man is a communist? How did he get ‘confirmed’? Once again, I leave an Obama news thread shaking my head. I am getting whiplash!

that quote about government destructive of these ends from the Declaration

And carve it on granite blocks and use the blocks to make an impression on the "czars" and the Stalin-mini-me who appointed them.

This guy is on meth, I swear.

No - he's on something far, far worse - "the vision of the anointed", as Thomas Sowell has called it. That's the same Utopian worldview that holds humanity in contempt, and that has enable some of history's worst mass murderers. Sunnnstein's just another worshiper in the same Pew as Pol Pot, Castro Chavez, Stalin and Hitler.

If we wish to remain alive and free, there's only one way this can end.

Heck, he already overrides Congress, with his czars and all...but Congress doesn't have a clue. Somebody must be putting cocaine in their water or something, their brains are numb!

We shouldn't be surprised. Obama clearly spelled out his antipathy for the Constitution during his campaign. Nobody had any illusions that he would actually try to follow it, did they?
