This is why I hate Dhimmirats as leaders-especially in war time. The only reason they are delaying is to not hurt their chances for passing a bunch of domestic garbage. What else could possibly be the reason to wait 2 months while soldiers are getting killed and wounded and the situation is getting worse?

Even with Bremer in charge we were making great progress in winning over the Iraqi citizens.
Then Lyndee England, Karpinski, and their ilk, got the full NYT press picture treatment, and the Iraqi’s got the impression that the US considered them muslim scum. Then the infighting and civil war began, amidst a lack of government leadership.
I say that the NYT and the MSM did the most harm to extend the war, still ongoing as we speak!
