Since Obama is pushing Chicago, I say give it to Brazil.

That was my first thought. Also, Obama needs to understand affirmative action only works in the USA, may not work in Denmark. Unless Chicago 2016 is a done deal and he is going there only to take credit..

...Pele said Tuesday that Rio "doesn't compete with Obama

......membership could be swayed by Obama's charismatic appeal...

Can too much charisma be a bad thing?

Snippets:

A Political leader must, absolutely must, make good decisions if he is to help his country. Charisma tends to block critical thinking among subordinates. It also causes voters to vote on the basis of personality instead of selecting a president for good decision-making skills. For those reasons, charisma is a dangerous characteristic in a politician.

Charisma is usually a distraction, diverting our attention from more important matters. We should look at those important things such as what the politician wants to do, how honest he is etc.

I know, but as I look at it, it is down to either Chicago or Rio.

The Olympics bid for Chicago is just to give democrats justification to hand over $5 or $10 billion of taxpayer money as STEALTH REPARATIONS to Chicago labor unions, crooked pols and even more crooked Community Organizers.

How cool is it to be in Brazil?

All of Brazil has a tropical to sub-tropical climate. Even in July in the Southernmost point of the state it rarely gets cold.

What would the weather be in Rio during the summer months, when it is actually their winter months, since the seasons are reversed?

The Olympics would be held during their summer, just as it was in Australia.

“But I have heard Rio is crime infested bigtime?”

I heard the same thing about Chicago, but I understand Chicago has really gotten cleaned up since January. Most of the criminals from Chicago have moved to DC.

The 2000 Sydney games were held from Sept 13 to Oct 1 which was the beginning of spring down there and fall up here. The 1956 Melbourne games were held from November 22 to December 8. Still spring and our fall. Those are the only Olympic games held so far in the southern hemisphere.

If it goes to Rio Obama will blame Geo Bush as everything is Bush’s fault.
