It would be much easier just to go with a nuclear weapon that we already have in our arsenal and ready to go.

The psychological effect of using such a device on them would be as effective as the actual destruction it caused.

Can you imagine the reaction of the Left if we, or Israel, took the path of least resistance and dropped a correctly sized nuclear device for the target?

Not correct, they have finished a rush coversion for the B-2 stealth bombers to carry and drop these little beauties.

THE C130 can fly their and back easily. The bomb would be only half it payload.

I agree. And I'm sure a low-yield nuke would weigh much less than 30,000lbs, which has got to make this an unwieldly piece of ordnance.

assuming that the they could fool the Iranians into thinking it was one of their C130E’s and don’t target
it with SAM/AAA/Interceptors. It would really be a sitting duck.
