This is liberal hysteria at its epitome. And the funny thing is, Carol and other liberals don’t even care about nor watch the NFL anyway. If Rush’s bid is rejected, what impact will this have on the Rams and their fans? Do these liberals think they’re going to jump for joy that Rush is not one of their bosses, that it’ll be a victory for blacks somehow? Probably not. The other partners (I believe the St. Louis Blues owner is one of them) will probably pull out of the deal as well, resulting in the team moving to Los Angeles. The Rams organization is in disarray, the team has been one of the worst in the past 5 years, and the stadium is already deemed obsolete. Rams fans and the city of St. Louis - are you going to let leftists who don’t give a crap about you stick their noses into your team’s affairs?

But it’s okay for Charles Barkley to say “That’s why I hate white people” and still be on the air.

And as the NFL loses 20 million fans....Hey somebody send the Bucs to a real football utopia. How about Georgetown Buccaneers.

“and some African-American players have said they would never play for a team that Limbaugh owned.”

And some players are so effin stupid they couldn't fill out a job application that was any more complicated than signing their X. Personally, I think Limbaugh ought to buy a few liberal newspapers instead. It would be fun to watch all the so called journalists tell him they wouldn't work for him.

Next year the NFL is expected to lose money.

Most of the owners got where they are by being good businessmen and not losing money. It seems stats on the profitability of various franchises is a bit difficult to find. But I did find this article on the profitability of the Green Bay Packers it makes for an interesting read.

Her cute little “witticisms” fail abysmally. And if she considers the Cardinals narrowly losing in the Super Bowl “crashing in the playoffs,” she needs a demotion to covering quilting or mah jongg.

"A Jacksonville, Fla., television station has obtained documents detailing Jaguars cornerback Brian Williams’ racist rant to police the night he was arrested in September 2006 on suspicion of DUI, News 4 Jax reported. The police officer involved wrote in a report that Williams called him "Honky mother (expletive)," and said, "I (expletive) your momma ... I (expletive) your wife twice." Williams allegedly went on to say he would do something to the officer’s daughter, News 4 Jax reported.

I bet I go all day and find report after report of the black racists in the NFL.

The receipts for the NFL will decline somewhat this year. Next year the NFL is expected to lose money. Not a good investment, especially the Rams.

I beg to differ. The tax advantages for someone in Rush's high income bracket are astounding.

Like “Reverend” Al Sharpton has any real credibility... Why that man is not in jail for incitement to riot, extortion, and perpetrating a fraud I'll never know.

As we all know, the double standard exists, even in the NFL.

Personally, I think Limbaugh ought to buy a few liberal newspapers instead. It would be fun to watch all the so called journalists tell him they wouldn't work for him.

What ineffable bliss that would be: 96 percent unemployment among the ink-stained wretches.

Then the real journalists would line up to take the impostors' places.

The Sun-Times stock (SUTMQ) closed today at .009. Like most big-city newspapers, the Sun-Times is praying that Obama’s promised news media bailout arrives before the liquidators.

There was an article a couple years ago, I believe in the WSJ, about how the ultra wealthy own professional sports teams often because they lose money and the massive tax deduction they get and how at the end of the day, even losing money yearly was a wise investment as the value of the team, nearly without exception is certain to go up a significant amount.

I happen to know a man who was the owner of an expansion team in a professional league. A very big one. Never in his life did he have any interest in the sport, and infact rarely attended any games. At a gathering on an entirely different matter during the expansion process we got to ask him some questions. It boiled down to "this is an investment". And boy, did it pay off.

And if you passed this guy on the street or sat next to him at the bar you would have no idea he is worth billions upon billions.
