Third in line to the Presidency of the United States of America. Third...

The country would be better off if we retired the first thousand in line to the Presidency.

Did you see the Tennessee thread yesterday? They are pushing the idea of a federalist boycott of all unconstitutional federal laws/regs/mandates.

This is the second thread I've seen this mentioned on. I've searched using Tennessee/TN/Tenn in keywords and titles, but can't find it. Can you provide a link to the thread? Thanks!

Tennessee wasn't in the title, "boycott" was:

State Launches Boycott of Unconstitutional Laws

Thanks for the link! I've added Tennessee to the keywords now so it will be easier to find.

I think “10thamendment” will be a key word in all of those threads.

Ask the guy with the “10th” graphic to get on his 10th amendment ping list.

Moreso if all the children have the same mother and father.

That’s because Leftist PIGS like Pelousy and Mohamedan devils like Elshami do not take the Constitution seriously.

“They are overplaying their hand with these statements.”

There are less Americans who agree than there are who don’t just simply nod their head and take the pols at their word.

Ignorant sheep.

The press release states that Congress has “broad power to regulate activities that have an effect on interstate commerce. Congress has used this authority to regulate many aspects of American life, from labor relations to education to health care to agricultural production.”

Next question: how is health insurance in any way effecting interstate commerce ? Yes Nancy, I am serious.

That’s one of those concepts where the left and right just talk past each other.

To a leftist, it’s perfectly reasonable to give those who make poor choices or are prone to criminal activity a “pass”

and just punish (and they’ll vehemently deny that it even IS punishment) the hell out of those that make prudent decisions and are good citizens.

Example: Zero tolerance “weapon” laws in schools.
“At risk youth”: given a pass
“Eagle Scout/Honor student”: no tolerance, full punishment

They see it as just a variation of taxation. The gov’t can require taxes of you, so they’re just going to creatively re-package a tax into health insurance payments.

They don’t yet realize that taxes are voluntary - you don’t have to do that which is taxed (may be difficult/painful/annoying, but the choice is still there). This will be the gov’t’s first foray into compulsory taxation: there is absolutely no way to not pay the tax.

(And yes, I believe there should be a minimal standard of living by which one is not compelled to pay “protection money” just to exist outside incarceration.)

In order to answer the question, the Speaker would have to actually know the contents of the document in question.

Exactly. Apart from her broader ignorance of and disregard for the constitution, she literally had no idea how to even pretend to answer that question.

Her "Are you serious? Are you serious?" response was classic stall by someone who is entirely out of their element. She was just flat-out stumped. Didn't even try to dance around it or blow her usual smoke--which she would have if she'd had the slightest shred of knowledge that related to the question. She couldn't even come up with the democrats' favorite, magical, all-purpose commerce clause. That only came later, in the written response to CNS--obviously, the product of staff. If that had honestly been her constitutional basis, she would have invoked it in her oral response.

My question is; can and will this forced-at-the-point-of-a-gun to purchase a good be litigated? How could the forced purchase (confiscation) stand in a court of law, regardless of what pelosi babbles?

Not to mention that auto insurance is mandated by the STATES. This is the FEDERAL government mandating. Violation of the 10th amendment.

I am beginning to wonder what will be the last straw for some state to finally say “Enough!” we are outta here...

Here is argument, If Obama is ineligible to hold office of POTUS and he nominated the VP then legally neither of them are eligible.

Technically Pelosi is the defacto POTUS.
