“Read & weep, Newter Boy.”

Newt really blew it on this one... I like a lot about him, but every once in a while he makes some bone-headed move.

Well, Newt already hopped on board now that he made a fool of himself. The story is in the FR sidebar.

Mutt is still crying over the loser rino dropping out I think.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not be fooled.

They only jumped on the band wagon because their ship was sinking.

If they want to be back in the majority and stop Obama they will.

Fred Thompson did a lot on this race. I heard about him supporting Hoffman early on. He was one of the first, and he worked hard to get endorcements for Hoffman.

I don’t mean to slight Fred, but Palin’s endorsement set of the firestorm that brought us to this point. No one was paying attention until Palin made it a nationally followed race.

It’ll be a tough call, but any moment now I expect (Texas Governor) Rick Perry to endorse Hoffman. He is truly a man of valor and courage, never afraid to take a stuff stand.

Absolutely.
Maybe after 50 wins like conservatives can breathe a bit easier.
But the GOP leadership is embarrassed by conservatives. They see them as fringe, kooky hayseeds.

Exactly.. Unless the GOP starts supporting True Conservatives.. they’ll be left behind.

Nonetheless, the GOP wants to win elections.

We can't let up on the GOP/RNC. They may have changed their tune, but you can bet your ass they haven't changed their ball-less, appeasing hearts and minds!

Exactly. The current Republican leadership has shown repeatedly that they are hopeless. They still must go.

It's thanks to Hoffman and an unusually bad RINO candidate that we have had this opportunity to make a difference. Usually, they are careful not to give us an opportunity.

Who did we get to vote for last fall? It was McCain or no one. There was no realistic third choice, as there was in the 23rd. And that's the way the RNC likes it.

Maybe next time we will have a choice, if Sarah runs. But you can bet that the RNC will block it if they possibly can. Between the media and the RNC, it's very hard to fight the system. Which is not to say that we won't try as hard as we can.

To the curb with these RINOS!

The core of the GOP already had. Now Scuzzy pulls out and some Republicans that should have backed Hoffman before now, are grumpily stepping up. That’s what this amounts to.

The GOP leaders shouldn’t be given any credit here. Any support for Hoffman is being given because they had no choice.

The Conservative Party could easily grow to replace the Republican party.

The era of Reagan is not dead. The era of those who refuse to reflect his values is.

RINOs need not apply.
