Let’s just stick with the excerpts quoted in this article. Wallace pushed for the interview— Palin says she knew better, but she did the Couric interview at her insistence. She took bad advice and did a terrible job, something that was entirely in her control. Why come out and try to place responsibility elsewhere? I want to here she recognized her mistakes and learned valuable lessons.

What's the problem?

Sarah said she took bad advice(about the Couric interview) and Sarah said she did a terrible job.

How is one saying that they did a "terrible job" not taking responsibility?

(I'll check back for your answer)

Why concentrate on the interview? Why not ask her, it seems to have taken up a significant part of her book and tour thus far. Maybe because it revealed her as either a clueless deer in the headlights or a helpless victim of the evil MSM and party hacks, depending on your point of view. Neither recommends her to the job to which she aspired, in my opinion. Beyond that, I can’t see what does recommend her to the position except some Obamalike worship from some on the Right. As an entertainer and spokesman, she’ll do fine and perhaps be of value to the cause. Maybe she has figured that much out while writing this tell all and has begun this Oprahfest to sell it.

Like I said before, you must work for the MSM, one of the RINOs, or must be a closet Democrat.

You're reasoning and debating skills show the same patterns.

No substance, no evidence, blowing miniscule bits of negative data into full-blown character assasinations.

A lot of wasted hot air with no substance.

I've wasted enough of my precious time on you.

Have fun with your delusions.

Actually, I am relying mostly on the whining defenses on the part of her sycophants here for any knowledge of what is being deemed ‘important’ in her book. What, do you think it will be a brilliant manifesto for the New Conservative movement she intends to lead? Is Oprah where she intends to get it all started? Where does this adoration come from? What has she said or written that went beyond something she could have stolen from a summary of Reagan for Dummies?

Show me where a person of significance and good character feels it necessary to point fingers and name names while taking the ‘blame’ for their own mistakes? It’s unbecoming and not Presidential as is in full evidence today in the WH.

Yes, your reasoning and debating skills are blinding by comparison. Delusions, indeed.

“the whining defenses on the part of her sycophants here”

Interesting when a conservative has a base of support they are all nutty fanatical idol worshippers lol.

That’s a Leftist type of attack. So who do you support?

I don’t know. Show me an unpolished, honest, real person with some qualifications and I’ll see. Sen. Tom Coburn would never run, which is why he should. I could support him.

Gobs of BS. Palin has been attacked non stop by McCains merry moderate idiots since the moderate McCain went down in flames. About time somebody stood up to the "moderate" assholes.

I don’t think all Palin supporters are whining sychophants, but clearly some of them are. I have no strong feelings about her other than the one that comes from my belief that whatever the important questions are today, they won’t be answered by her or anyone else who sells a book like this and starts the process on Oprah.

Well if Coburn is the answer, he needs to get busy.

Right now it it:

Palin
Romney
Pawlenty

She isn’t attacking them on their moderate policy by laying out her reasoning in a thoughtful way. She’s attacking them because they ‘made’ her look bad, according to her. They wouldn’t ‘let’ her be herself. I find that boring and uninspiring and get to say as much. If you do think it inspiring and worthy of your support, you get to say so. I’m trying to think of an example where a real leader took her approach.....I guess you must be too since all you came up with was ‘Gobs of BS’.

Didn't Ronald Reagan claim that he took bad advice on more than a few occasions?

When Reagan signed the abortion bill as governor and when Reagan signed the illegal amnesty bill as president, didn't Reagan later claim that he had taken bad advice?

And since when is one claiming that they had taken bad advice not a declaration of self blame?

I find you boring and uninspiring.

You've read the book that is generating all the smoke I presume?

No, you couldn't have done that because it hasn't been released. So your comments on her "attacks" are not only gobs of BS but they are uninformed gobs of BS.

So your knee jerk position is to attack the conservative and defend the likes of the McCain campaign, a group of cheap shot, chickne sh^t moderates, liberals and in Schmidts case, democrats.

That's OK coolio, it's a free country, but uninformed garbage is uninformed garbage and on this thread you are the uninformed garbageman.

Then I’ll have to take Pawlenty, pending future revelations leading me to think otherwise. But frankly, I don’t think it matters. We are headed to third world status and no one is going to be able to divert us from that course. Are any one of those three going to slash SS and Medicare/Medicaid? Federal Pensions? Those three alone will drag us under, and they are only 3 of many more unfundable liabilities. It is going to have to get much worse before the country is ready for the truth, and by then they may be numbed to the point the wouldn’t recognize it if it were told to them. I would like to see someone like Coburn just stand up for President and tell the truth: you have elected politicians who have mortgaged the nations future to give you the things you demanded in return for your vote. No we have to pay, every damn one of us, for the sake of future generations. Of course he will lose, but he will go down in history as a prophet.

I don’t recall anyone getting into this ‘he said, she said’ inside dope. If she kept it at ‘ I took bad advice and own the responsibility for that’ and left it there, I could respect it.

I hope Palin kicks Nicolle Wallace’s two-faced butt. First the back stabbing Rino cheek, then the smirking weasel cheek.

I hardly defend McCain campaign workers. I wonder if you have defended those who came out with these sorts of books containing inside info on the Bush campaign and Presidency? Or, did you think they were a classless display of self promotion, etc.?

As for ‘uniformed garbage’, what exactly in my criticism isn’t established fact? Did she give an account of the ‘interview’ in which she related how she knew better, but did the interview anyway because of things advisers told her, and quoted them? Didn’t she blame the clothes incident on the campaign as if she had no say and could have been expected to show better judgment and values? Has she come out with a policy statement or philosophy that goes beyond the Cliff notes version of Reagan for Dummies? Did I miss that? Didn’t she pass off that punk as her upstanding future son in law? That’s about as far as I went, what part of that was ‘misinformed’?

Not "misinformed", I said uninformed.

As for President Bush his fatal flaw was not responding to the constant attacks and sniping from the left and his own party.

You want leaders that follow that example which moves you from the uniformed column to the idiot column.

In the three paragraphs you wrote you included zero quotes for Palin or anybody else. Your crap is right out of the AP truth squad manifesto.

The stupid party is stupid for a reason and part of that reason is folks like you who are mortally offended by people defending themselves.

"I find that boring and uninspiring and get to say as much.

Yep...anybody can throw out a negative opinion based on close to nothing.

Based on your comments here, I'll bet you are without a spark of spirit, unmotivated and lazy, dithering with no motivation, stuck in a rut.

I find you unimaginative, boring and uninspiring, extremely ordinary and common place, inferior and substandard.

Likely, you are mediocre and dull, just a little bit plain, bordering on strange.

If I had to really tell you what I think, I'd deduct that you were inadequate and lacking, less than perfect and floundering.

Palin, on the other hand, is just the opposite of you.....IMO of course.

OK, call names and ignore the issues I used as examples to answer your accusation. No, I didn’t give quotes, I went to commonly reported and accepted facts-— they happened and I heard her address them directly. Sorry I don’t have immediate recall so I can quote her directly, but you can’t deny the truth of my examples. Easier to insult. It’s amazing how Obamaphiles and Palinites are similar in that way....it must be a cult of personality trait.
