“BO will give citizenship to 30 million illegal aliens next year before the Nov. elections.”
Unless things change a lot ;-) BO can’t do that. It would take Congress. I suggest that IF they seriously try that, there will be a multi-million person Tea Party in Washington - and this time they may not be so civil.
I’ll certainly go. I hope all Freepers will join in. IF Congress is stupid enough to ignore that, they’ll deserve whatever happens next.
Worth restating ten times.
“Me too..the more the left attack her, the more people will see that she is the one that can beat Obama. Just like Rush says, the media shows us everyday who they are terrified of. They are not terrified of Romney or Huckabee(Who just has a new book out, is the media fact checking that book..yeah thats what I thought) or Pawlenty, its Sarah Palin they are scared to death of, and not scared to death like Freddie Krugar scared, but scared like she is going to throw Obamas ass out of the White House in 2012 kinda scared”
....I'll shall do the same. .
..as soon, as I can get my drivers' window fixed.
I read somewhere on FR that Harper Collins announced that her book has gone to a second printing and that just Amazon has over 80,000 copies pre-ordered.
Politico.com was quoted as the source but I can’t find it there tho’ not looked too hard !
“The first is that she’s become one of the most polarizing figures in the country.”
The Left is predisposed to despise people like Palin, Reagan, Buckley, Goldwater, Limbaugh—who needn’t do anything other than articulate their core beliefs to drive the Left bonkers.
“She needs to adopt a market-friendly populist agenda
Isn’t this just double-speak for move to the middle and must adopt a “moderate” [i.e. RAT lite] agenda?”
It doesn’t have to be. Ronald Reagan brought the middle class over to his way of thinking by having a kind of populist agenda. The difference is that he replaced the struggle of the common man with the elite with the struggle of the common man against a wasteful, intrusive, and bloated government.
The minute that happens, I'll vote third party. NEVER again will I hold my nose and vote. If McShame had been elected, he would be doing the same thing Obama is doing under the GOP banner. Our party would be done for 100 years because, combined with some of the Bush moves, the brand would be even more ruined than it is now. Either the GOP serves up a candidate that is solid on small-government principles built on Constitutional/libertarian principles or I vote third party. Let the democrats ruin themselves with socialist populism, not the GOP.
I agree with you. The premise sucks. Comeback from what?
I can think of someone who is more polarizing, right off the top of my head, and his initials are "I won."
As Kirk wood stated:
“Ronald Reagan brought the middle class over to his way of thinking by having a kind of populist agenda. The difference is that he replaced the struggle of the common man with the elite with the struggle of the common man against a wasteful, intrusive, and bloated government.”
If you vote third party, you will help bring about 4 more years of Obuma. Is that a good idea?
YOU BETCHA!!
“Come back”, LMAO!!!
This moron writer Continetti must be a Romney guy.
Sarah is more popular than ever. “Come back”, (snort, laugh).
If America misses the opportunity to make this woman President then it really is _O_ver.
OBama is the most divisive partisan politician we have
what mixed feelings for michelle? I haven’t heard anything negative toward here on here
Ditto.
Good article, and good advice. Sarah has to clean the MSM slime off her image.
Socialized medicine, cap and trade, and amnesty for illegal immigrants, among a ton of other socialistic junk, will probably be the law of the land, prior to the start of the ‘12 elections, so how do conservatives successfully get around all of this long-term socialism? The U.S. is really turning into a third world banana republic with no end in sight!
Big media successfully ridiculed Palin's intellectual capacity in the 2008 election and continues to do so to the present.
Once the image of being non too bright is created it is indelible. Since Truman virtually all Democrat candidates with the possible exception of George Wallace were marketed as the Stephen Hawkings of governors of mankind. Recall Adlai Stevenson, John Kennedy, Eugene McCarthy, Jimmy Carter, Michael Dukakis, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. The only Republican that the media conceded was intelligent was Richard Nixon, but the media used Nixon's intelligence as a weapom suggesting it was used for evil. The story on the Republican side has been far different with big media using every opportunity to question the mental capacity of almost all Republicans. This assault on the intellectual capacity of Republicans, whether as candidates or as president, has made their jobs much more difficult. Dwight Eisenhower, Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford, both Bushes, and Dan Quayle were all mocked as being none too bright. The only Democrat who was held in low estemm by big media was Harry Truman.
Once the media has implanted the image of a candidate as a doofus the damage is lasting and cannot be overcome. Images are part and parcel of first impressions and we all know how important first impressions are.
I make these comments as a caution of what to expect. Another issue is that big media uses the character of the supporters of issue to discredit the issue itself, i.e.something like the "halo effect".
