It was the cover-up that got Nixon.

Brett Bair, Fox News Special Report, said that not one major network has done a single story on Climategate.

Uh, Mann is a resident of the United States. He published papers with every one of these people. You think if someone living here in the United States were engaged in criminal activity with someone overseas the United States would have have no jurisdiction over U.S. residents involved in an international scam?

That is not what I meant. Mann can be booked under US law. I am talking of the hackers (if any) here. Unless they were in the US and broke US law, their hacking cannot be investigated here. Boxer wants to investigate the hacking. The hoax part of course can be investigated here and must be investigated.

Iran’s photoshop job of this pic was cleaner than Al Gore’s photoshop of the hurricanes.

“Okay, then she’s an even bigger idiot than I originally thought you said she was. “

It’s impossible to underestimate Boxer’s stupidity.

It’s 100% clear that the CRU emails, “CRU-tape letters”, were selectively obtained and released .... 1,000 emails from CRU, and other files, but specific files of importance ... not something a ‘hacker’ does, an insider at CRU did it. Most likely a CRU employee at East Anglia University in the UK who was sick of the lies and deceptions and wanted the world to know.

In short, an anonymous “whistleblower”.

Boxer wants to ignore the violations of law by Jones and the abuse of ethics by them all and go after some unknown Brit whistleblower.

Obviously there was no hacking. Part of the documents were released to a BBC reporter months ago who sat on his ass and did nothing. Those and more were then released to a larger audience. England has a whistle-blower law to protect such folks who release information of malfeasance or crime in the public interest. This clearly falls under that law.

We may never know, but I suspect she is heavily invested in the so called “green technology”. She could stand to lose her shirt over that. (Something none of in truth wants to be subjected to.)
