A part of his plan to turn us into a 3rd world country, I really believe. I can think of no other reason to target the necessities of living.

I am not saying that this place isn’t riddled with socialists, etc. I am just saying the fact is during the presidential election West Virginia voted Palin/McCain.

That’s a disconnect that I’ll never understand.

His (and the left’s) greater goal is to drastically reduce the lifestyle of every average (non-elite) American.

Yes, and it's working--so far. I'm getting sick of it. This is the US of America and when I think back to the accomplishments of this country of the last 100 plus years, it is truly amazing.

There is NO reason that we should be continually told to cut back, cut back. To heck with cutting back. It's not necessary. There is absolutely no reason why we can't use our own God-given resources, including our intellect and ingenuity to create ever more and find answers to problems that arise.

Get these liberal naysayers out of the way.

I don’t know if you understand that you’ve absolutely nailed the difference in mindset between us and the left, but it’s right there.

We believe God gave us this earth and its resources to use and take care of.
Leftists worship the earth itself and believe that we should use absolutely as little as possible of that “deity”.

Ex 20:4-5
“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them;”

I want my own low-cost self contained power source for my big home and I want low cost fuel for my comfortable car. I want all this with minimal pollution and by golly, I believe it is attainable. Get these liberals out of the way. Turn believers lose and I'll get what I want because there will be a nice profit in it for those who deliver what I want.

Can you believe the HUGE difference in the lives of those who lived only 100 years ago to now and we have liberals who want to destroy this ingenuity.

It’s easily explained.

They are simply exhibiting the original sin - desiring to be gods unto themselves, desiring to define good and evil for themselves, and telling themselves there are no consequences for their behaviors. (Gen 3:4-5)

They want to decide for all humanity what is right and wrong and how this earth’s resources should be used.

Absolutely. The greatest lie of liberalism is that there is no consequence for actions. Just leave everything to them. They’ll fix it, including getting rid of inconvenient babies.
